Her parents are finding a suitable match for her since a couple of years but no luck yet. Though Venus dasa (up to 1999) couldn't bring marriage, it was not much painful. Let me know if there was some unsuccesful emotional involvement during Venus dasa (Venus aspecting the 5th) bringing some humiliation to the girl. Proximity of Mars-Venus is significant. See that Sun too is unhelpful. However, sun dasa should be very good for career / prosperity atleast after some agony. Marriage is likely in Sun - Venus i.e. after May,2004. If not, dasa of Moon, 7th lord in Navamsa will definitely give marriage. Please give the feedback. The delay in your friend's marriage is due to Saturn's (7th lord) debilitation in Navamsa (the divisional meant for marriage, spouse, etc.). Also, 7th lord's debilitation causes trouble with spouse or to the spouse. Besides her Venus (Karaka of marriage in general) is placed in 11th, which according to classics, indicates late marriage i.e. after 28 years. Now she is running Sade Sati first phase so I don't know exactly how that would affect her marriage. Gurujis may comment and enlighten me in this regard. However my understanding states that she will marry in the 33rd year of her life (based on a combination in the classics that says that if 12th lord is placed in the 9th then the person will marry either in 25th or 33rd year). > what kind of a spouse should she expect? Based on my understanding her Venus in 11th indicates a spouse that is quite elder to her and short in height. Other aspects of physical appearance can also be given but that would require a lot of time. This lady should not expect a relationship full of roses though. She has Rahu in 7th house that receives a benefic aspect (from Venus) as well as a malefic aspect (from Saturn) from the 11th. However, the best part is that it receives an aspect from Mars in the 11th and so inspite of tensions, your friend would be able to sustain the marriage. This besides another karaka for marriage in women i.e. Jupiter is badly placed in the ascendant and so again, this indicates a marriage that is not very smooth. Namaste. I did not know her that well (up to 1999) so I could not say whether venus dasa she had unsuccessful emotional involvement.
