Guest guest
Om Guruve Namah: Dear Learned Gurus & Members, The recent tragedies have rocked India and her people. First, terrorist attack in Mumbai followed by stampede in Nasik, Kumbh Mela and then bridge collapse in Daman. Although the trend is not going to last long yet we need to be cautious. I analyzed the situation astrologically based on Indian Independence Chart (15th August 1947, 00Hrs., Delhi). The planetary details are as follows: Ascendant (Lagna) – Taurus Planetary Details Taurus – North Node (Rahu) Gemini – Mars Cancer – Moon, Mercury, Venus, Saturn & Sun Libra – Jupiter Scorpio – South Node (Ketu) Transit Chart on 25 August, 2003 Taurus – North Node (Rahu) – less than 1 degree when the above events happened Gemini – Saturn & Moon Leo – Jupiter, Sun & Venus Virgo – Mercury Scorpio – South Node (Ketu) Aquarius – Mars ® On 25 August three major events happened. One – ASI disclosed that a tenth-eleventh century temple remains were found in Ayodhya disputed site, two – Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) withdrawn support from Mayavati Government in UP, third – bomb blasts in Mumbai. Now if you see the transits during the day, you will find that there was an indication of such a situation there. Temple Remains News Analysis During the mid-morning hours of 25 August, 2003 the Archeological Survey of India revealed that they have found remains of a tenth-eleventh century temple at Ayodhya disputed site. Now if you see ninth lord represents religion and religious places i.e. temple etc. whose lord Saturn is well placed in second house of Mercury (friend). Since second house ruler was exalted in fifth house (ninth from ninth in the transit chart) and second representing speech and revelations etc. this news came related to Temple remains. Here both ninth lord and second lord became favourable because of favourable situation in the transit chart. Mumbai Blast Analysis & UP Politics Rahu had lost its power and was less than one degree in Taurus and moving towards the twelfth house (Aries) of India’s independence chart, which represents “losses” and Ketu was moving towards the sixth house (Libra) representing “Diseases & Enemies” – both inimical in these two signs. Since Rahu is in a favourable position in Taurus Lagna (Lordship of Venus), therefore, it behaves like Venus for India at the same time Ketu in seventh House in Scorpio (Lordship Mars) behaves like Mars. According to the above positions both Rahu & Ketu created dangerous situation for the country during this time when they were moving towards twelfth & sixth houses respectively. Therefore, losses on account of enemies were caused on 25 August, 2003. Also since Rahu represents events behind the curtain i.e. politics it was a major force in creating a crisis situation in UP politics when Bharatiya Janata Party withdrawn support from Bahujan Samaj Party. Also see the fourth house transit of planets. Sun and Jupiter are well placed here while Venus which is both Lagna lord as well as sixth lord is inimical to both the planets. Since Venus is an enemy to both Sun & Jupiter and in a fire sign Leo it created problem. Since it also rules sixth house; enemies created the problem. Also the fourth house is aspected by retrograde Mars from the tenth house which rules seventh house and twelfth house. So, it becomes a killer planet causing violence by use of bombs (firearms). Since fourth house represents home these problems are at the home front only. Kumbha Stampede Analysis Nasik Kumbha takes place when Jupiter enters Leo and Sun enters Cancer. Till the time both Jupiter & Sun were in good positions nothing wrong happened. But when Venus conjunct Jupiter & Sun in Leo the stampede killed several devotees. Jupiter and Sun are conjunct Venus in the fourth house, Venus is creating problems there. See the aspect of retrograde Mars from tenth house on Venus in the fourth house, which helped in causing violence. Saturn’s (ninth lord of religion and religious places) aspect also added fire to both the crisis situations aspecting the enemy sign, its lord Sun and strengthening Venus. Mayavati versus Mulayam Singh Yadav Now, it is interesting to see that both Mayavati (former Chief Minister of UP) & Mulayam Singh Yadav (current Chief Minister of UP) have the same Moon-sign as per their current names. Now Mayavati became powerless and Mulayam Singh Yadav came into power. Now, people can say how transiting planets have affected both in opposite direction when their Moon-signs are same. The answer is that their political parties are different. Bahujan Samaj Party’s (BSP) Moon-sign is Taurus and tenth house is Kumbha, wherein Mars is ill placed, which is lord of seventh house and twelfth house. Seventh house rules partnerships, which broke off with Bharatiya Janata Party and being twelfth house lord in tenth caused loss of power. As also Mars’s ill aspect on Mercury in the fifth house (lord of second) worsened the situation because of BSP’s official statements relationship with BJP. Further BSP’s situation weakened since its MLAs joined Samajwadi Party. Samajwadi Party’s (SP) Moon-sign is Aquarius and tenth house is Scorpio, whose Lord is in Moon-sign Lagna – excellent Rajayoga situation (tenth lord in lagna). Moon-sign lord (Saturn) is in Gemini in the fifth house – another good situation for Rajayoga (Moon-sign lord in fifth). Ninth lord in seventh house & Moon-sign lord aspecting (Venus) – another Rajayoga situation. Therefore Samajwadi Party has good chances of surviving and completing the term since Lagna lord is strong in the fifth house till September, 2005 although there would be problems managing partners. I may or may not have considered all the parameters while analyzing the above events yet I felt this gives best idea about the day-to-day happenings. Since I have been using this method of prediction for a long time which has come out true while used on individual’s without charts. This is the reason I am using this method on analyzing different situations. The above analysis will give you an idea of how astrology works. It is not just the birth chart gives you correct details it is name also which can tell you about the happenings etc. if analyzed with due care and keeping in focus the perspective. It is also required to be kept in mind that the environment can also make a big effect on the person or the group. United will has different effect on different things at different times and individual will have different effect on the same things. Guest guest
Dear Prakashji, An excellent analysis based solely on Gochara positions. I enjoyed reading it. Anyway, the only thing I would be wary of is judging rasis from Mayawati's and Mulayam Singh's names. If you have their birth details on which your conclusions are based, then great. However, just going by the name might mislead us to wrong rasis in instances where people/places are not named based on Rasis. I have seen this in South Indian cultures especially. They do not name their children based on Rasis. Namaste. Guest guest
Dear Rageshwari ji, Thank you very much for reading my comments/analysis on recent happenings. See, I dont have very good understanding of vedic astrology (still learning like yourself), yet I am trying to evolve my own understanding behind the causes and sharing the same with this esteemed group. I have written in the comments that "one needs to analyze the such happenings in right perspective with right understanding of events, planets, karakas & with a right mindset". My last two year's experience has made me believe strongly in "trasit position" of planets and their effects. The reason being predictions given to people without a horoscope - just based on name have come out correct (I am yet to see a strong reasoning behind this). As far as Mayavati & Mulayam Singh Yadav are concerned, I have clearly written that one needs to see the other major force working/behind the events. In the case of the above mentioned politicians - their political parties (names) tell us the true picture of transit effects. I thought for more that 7-8 hours on these events and used many resources from different websites and in fact checked the "Rashi name" for "Ba" in this group (since had doubt after seeing many websites) as well to come out with clear analysis. One other major thing is that the one's known/famous name affects the destiny too even if the rashi name is different. The other reason being that - I have Cancer Lagna and in transit - Sun, Jupiter and Venus are in 2nd house i.e. Leo while Jupiter and Venus are originally situated in Aquarius (8th house)- this has a favourable impact on my words. Sometimes I feel that if someone else is sitting on my tongue and dictating this whole and I feel as if I have a peppermint on my tongue-whenever I make such analysis/predictions. I regret late response to your mail. Looking forward to your comments on this.
