Guest guest
Dear KR, Was this around the times that Saturn transits Gemini? He has done so twice from 2002. Saturn is your 7th Lord and he would go to 12th when he enters Gemini. Rahu behaves like Saturn when alone. Chandrashekhar. - kr_nine vedic astrology Thursday, May 01, 2003 7:59 PM [vedic astrology] Travel and astrology: a question I have been a silent spectator for some time now ... recently, I havehad an interesting change of pace in my life, and would like to know what astrological facts indicate this in my chart. Date of Birth: October, 9th, 1972Place: 79E7, 13N12Time: 1:25 amDuring the last 5 years prior to May, 2002, I have travelled on may be3-4 trips mainly to India (from US) and another 3-4 trips within theUS. Starting May, 2002, how ever, I have been to a total of 7 trips outside the US (to Europe, Thailand, South America) and 4 trips within the US up to now. And this trend doesn't seem likely to stop in the near future, as I am the project lead in multiple projects which require travel to customer locations. So, how do you explain this sudden change in amount of travel? Jupiter, the Dasa lord is also the lord of 9th house (Cancer Asc) ... however, I have had this Dasa for the last 15 years. Why the sudden change? Even the Bhukti of Rahu in Jupiter, that I am currently running, started way before May 02. So, I am a little bit perplexed as to how to explain this. I would appreciate any thoughts. Thanks,KRArchives: vedic astrologyGroup info: vedic astrology/info.htmlTo UNSUBSCRIBE: Blank mail to vedic astrology-....... Guest guest
Om namah shivaya Dear Kr The reasons are not very hard to find. THe narayana dasa of libra in rasi has started last year. The karaka for self sun is in 12th from the dasa rasi. Dasa rasi is moveable sign. Mercury the 9th lord from dasa rasi is with 10th lord in libra. Planets in 2,4,8,12 from dasa rasi give results in the starting phase of the dasa. added to it, the dasa is libra a beneficial sign, thus the results of the dasa itself would be felt in the starting. Look at dasamsa, capricorn Narayana dasa has started which is 7th from dasamsa lagna. So travel is indicated again. MOOn and sun are in 12th from dasa sign. Capricorn is a malefic sign, thus the dasa lord would give results first than the dasa itself. thus saturn in Libra, would be the reason for this hectic travel. Libra is the dasa in rasi, so all is connected. regards partha Om Tat Sat vedic astrology, "tarun chopra" <astrotarun@r...> wrote: > > Hello KR, > > In your horoscope You have Moon conjucnt with mercury in fourth > house which is the main reason for you to travel frequently in > foreign lands. and acording to me you are having Saturn Dasha > which is also placed in 12th house which further give you reason > to travel to foreign land saturn is lord of seventh and eight > house. seventh means work in foreign land. > > Best wishes > Tarun Chopra > naastrology/ > On Fri, 02 May 2003 Chandrashekhar wrote : > >Dear KR, > >Was this around the times that Saturn transits Gemini? Guest guest
No, Saturn was still in Taurus in May 02. Actually, the transit saturn was conjunct with the natal saturn in the 27th degree of Taurus when my first child, a daughter, was born on July 9, 02. However, I cannot to your new ayanamsha as I have seen reasonably accurate results with the well- accepted Lahiri Ayanamsha. Guest guest
Partha, I have never used Narayana Dasa before, but as far as I recall, out of the many dasa systems, Vimsottari is the only one that is reasonably reliable. Infact, given the vast number of dasa systems, it is (probably) always possible to pick a system that answers a particular query perfectly in hind-sight. May be, you have a different view point ... if so, please explain. Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaya Dear KR All the dasas are wheels of time, and they do not contradict each other. The purpose of each dasa is different. THe "focus" of each dasa system is different. Vimshottari shows state of mind, reactions etc. The narayana dasa shows the actual circumstances or the state of things as they are! i learnt narayana dasa from the resources that are available in the files section in our group, some material from archives and ofcourse the book "Narayana dasa by Pt.Rath". regards partha Om Tat Sat vedic astrology, "kr_nine" <kr_nine> wrote: > Hmm... this is interesting. how would you reconcile Vimsottari and > Narayana Dasa results if they are contradictory?
