Pitra dosha?--->Guru Ji.

Dear Guru Ji,

 

Thanks for the note on "Pitru dosha", that was an excllent

explanation and I have noted it.

 

Can you please clarify for me the following based on my

knowledge of our Hindu customs and in understanding from the

Astrolgical perspective.

 

1) The eldest son has to perform the last rituals of the Father.

If there is only one son, then he has to perform.

 

2) You also mentioned that, "Pitru Dosha" is a result of

actions in a past birth, primarily of not performing the last

rites of the father. Which means the native who has

"Pitru Dosha" has to be a male in the last birth, isn't it?

 

Can you please verify the following of my understanding:-

 

* If the native has a body of a female in this birth with

"Pitru Dosha", then she must have had a male body in the

past life.

 

* Other wise, if this native had a female body in the past

life, she do not have to perform the last rites of her father

being a female, hence she should not have "Pitru Dosha"

in the currently birth.

 

May be my understanding is wrong, so please educate me.

tough but anyhow I give here what he said.He says one must perform

Shraaddh ( a kind of last rites ) in Gaya ( Holy city on the banks of

river Ganga ) and feed 1000 Brahmins,or one should conduct marriage

of a bride ( not his daughter )and give a Cow in donation will ward

off Pitru Dosha or Shaapa and will beget children and will see his

grandchildren also.
