Guest guest
Dear Peter, Thank you, I still can't get the ascendant that Krushna gets, I get 10 Capricorn 18 Krushna's is 9 Capricorn 17 Sylvia On Fri, 1 Jun 2001 10:37:58 +1000 " Peter Sutcliffe " <petermay writes: > Dear Sylvia, > The time Zone is GMT but there is 1 hour of daylight savings in > operation. > Please note that after application of the Daylight savings the time > of birth > GMT falls on the 22nd of June 1930 > > Peter > Namaste > > > >
Guest guest
Dear Sylvia, I think you will find that Krushna's lagna is in fact 9 Aquarius 17 not Capricorn. I get 9 Aquarius 33 because my Ayanamsa is 12 seconds different to that which Krushna gets. Using Lahiri I always used to get Aquarius but at a different degree. In fact I have been getting Aquarius ever since I started studying Vedic the degree has just varied with the Ayanamsa. I am not sure why you are getting Capricorn. Guest guest
Dear Sylvia, Using Parashara’s Light 2000 and Krushna’s ayanamsha of 21:52:22, which configures a Lahiri offset of 01:00:39, I get a lagna of 09 Aquarius 15’ (as opposed to 08 Aquarius 14’ using Lahiri). Now I’m not sure which program you are using to calculate, but to get a Capricorn lagna, perhaps you are calculating Peter’s data applying DST? I believe Peter said earlier that the DST is already factored in to his birthdate – so calculate with DST set at 0 or off, rather than 1, and you should be all set. ~Namaste~ Sandy http://www.jupitersweb.com/ Dear Peter, Thank you, I still can't get the ascendant that Krushna gets, I get 10 Capricorn 18 Krushna's is 9 Capricorn 17 Sylvia On Fri, 1 Jun 2001 10:37:58 +1000 " Peter Sutcliffe " <petermay writes: > Dear Sylvia, > The time Zone is GMT but there is 1 hour of daylight savings in > operation. > Please note that after application of the Daylight savings the time > of birth > GMT falls on the 22nd of June 1930 > > Peter > Namaste > > > >

Guest guest
Dear Sandy, Peter, Krushna Thank You, I am getting 9 Aquarius 15 now, I use Jagannatha Hora Lite, Krushna said the ascendant was 10:09:17 so I thought 10 was Capricorn 9 degrees 17 seconds, but Krushna explained in another email about it. Guest guest
Dear Sylvia, Using Krushna’s ayanamsha calculator, your figures are absolutely correct. The Krushna ayanamsha comes out to 21:52:22 with a Lahiri offset of 01:00:39. Lagna then becomes 09 Aq 15. As for the differences between what Krushna is using and what we are getting - When Krushna calculated this chart for Peter, I believe it was quite a while before the nifty little Krushna Ayanamsha calc program was invented by Donna – so that probably accounts for the difference. ~Namaste~ Sandy http://www.jupitersweb.com/ -----Original Message----- sylvia linzner [sylvia261] Saturday, June 02, 2001 8:55 AM To: Re: time zone Dear Sandy, Peter, Krushna Thank You, I am getting 9 Aquarius 15 now, I use Jagannatha Hora Lite, Krushna said the ascendant was 10:09:17 so I thought 10 was Capricorn 9 degrees 17 seconds, but Krushna explained in another email about it. This answer i have given long back, It was stored in my computer, I put it as it is. In other mail, I have asked to use correct ayanansha. The difference of cource changes the Dasha by few days. Guest guest
Dear Krushna, Thank you. I also have a granddaughter due on the 22nd of this month too! Babies everywhere! J So at the end of this month I will be flying back to my former state of residence in MA, to coddle, pamper, and spoil both babies for a few weeks, because both my daughter and son live within 2 miles of one another. (Then their mothers can get a bit more rest.) I just can’t wait! There is nothing more miraculous or precious in life than a newborn. Guest guest
Thanks for your mail. I think it is 2 hours ahead of GMT plus one hour DST in Summer. Another mail here suggests that the same time was prevalent in 1961.I hope that is the correct position, otherwise the chart will go wrong. It was nice to communicate with you, after some time. My health, mercifully, is getting better with passing days. I hope the worst is over-- though the sadesatti continues.
