Guest guest
An interesting subject of my particular interest but not many takers in discussing it. Although I am not as experienced as the stalwarts present here let me print some experiences which Gurus can correct and expand on. Already Ramadasji and Jagmeetji have given great references. Jagmeetji have given the books which is a great learning point, additionally I beleive it is practical experience which astrologers of this list must write in this forum that would make beginners like me to do it more kinds. Ramadasji has been nice to give a detailed explanation on this science, just to add pls read below 1. For 18 yrs i have been a staunch follower of Swara Shashtra which i feel is just so so divine, but should not be misused, if one checks the nostril which is flowing Strongly of minimum "12 angulas" and walks into ones office with the same foot forward, then it has been observed that ones day goes with great success. I have had an 80% success with this, I guess the other factors would have been astrological etc. 2. In my dealings with big time astrologers with great accuracy I have been told that any astrologer practising astrology without the aid of Swara Shastra ( taught by Shiva to Parvati) is one without the right tool esp in terms of Prashna science. 3. After personally testing out the technique of swara Shastra of bringing opponent under ones control by usung the foot forward and nostril flow of breath, I personally would vouch for this technique with 70% accuracy depending on the angulas of the flow of breath. But personallly I feel that one shouldnt use this technique unless desperately required. Total surrender in God is better at any time. Also I feel one shouldnt misuse this science for personal selfish gains. 4. Just to reiterate the point of Swara Shashtra's accuracy, I just saw 1 week back a 21 year old astrologer do predictions for Jaaved Jafferi, Rajeev Shah (Bharat Shah's son) with great accuracy by using Swara Shastra and prashna only. I wish I could have asked him to share his knowledge but due to time pressures was unable to do it. I can be wrong in my experiences and one can put it on luck, or inadequacy of knowledge, so would invite Gurus to write in more If i am unable to respond pls presume it is due to lack of internet time Best Love and Joy Suniil John ------- Original message -------From : Ernst Wilhelm Date : Wed, 5 Nov 2003 07:19:03 -0800 Dear Gauranga, there is a very interesting Sanskrit text on the subject called Svara Chintamani that is available in translation. Dear members, Namaste. I'm back from a month+ pilgrimage in India. Back to Jyotish studies. I'm studying Prashnga marga at the moment and there are very intertesting passages on Swara Sastra, i.e. the astrologer should analyse his breath while the prashna is made. I wander if anyone of the members has additional information on Swara Sastra besides what is stated in Prashna marga?
