Guest guest Posted November 8, 2003 Report Share Posted November 8, 2003 Dear List, Can anyone tell me why the temple would be closed on the eclipse. I'm only guessing that is why it is closed. Living in DC, I am near enough the Shiva Vishnu Temple in MD and it is usually opened on Saturday nights but was closed here by early tonight. The full eclipse itself will happen here at 8:13 tonight but am wondering what the significance is with relation to the temple, if any.
