Guest guest
Dear Mark and List, It's interesting to note which of the nakshatras were listed by the temple priests as those to be most affected, most affected to people born under them, by the eclipse: Ashwini, Bharani, Krittika, Purva Phalguni, Purva Ashadha. Eclipse took place in Bharani, a Venus ruled star. Purva Phalguni and Purva Ashadha are the other two Venus ruled stars. And Ashwini and Krittika are on either side of Bharani, the closest nakshatras to it. Also though Ashwini is ruled by Ketu and Krittika by the Sun, however not where Sun and Ketu were for this eclipse. I wish I knew the thinking behind this... Ketu and Sun were conjoined of course in this eclipse but they've not specified other stars ruled by them, and no mention of stars ruled by Rahu or Moon. So I'm wondering if this has to do with the actual distance these nakshatras are from Bharani... along with nakshatras also ruled by Venus as Venus is strongly being affected by this eclipse. Kindest regards, Patrice
