2-, from Mark, 11/9....re..... Lord Ram and the Vedic Sky!

I remember when I was first studying Jyotish.

After a few years, the thought occured to me, 'I wonder if I can create the

perfect chart?' So, I put the Sun in Aries, And the Moon, in it's Exaltation,

in Taurus. Also, I put Guru, Exalted in Cancer and Mars, in Capricorn.

Also, Saturn was in Libra, in it's Exaltation as well as Venus being in

Pisces, in it's Exaltation.

The only planet I couldn't place in it's form of Exaltation was Mercury,

but it did make it into Gemini, it's own sign.

Then, a number of years later I came across an email that was announcing

what was thought to be the chart of Rama!

And wow, if it didn't have almost everything that I had heard of.

I think the only think that was different was the Moon went into Cancer,

perhaps because of Rama's innate compassion or love of Guru.

The chart had an Aries Rising and Saturn in the 7th even though exalted

was very appropriate for the fact that at some point his wife, Sita,

got stolen away for a time!

I know many people who have Exalted Saturn's in their charts....and for a time,

do experience the malefic side of Saturn, sometimes!

Today, the thought also occurs, if this was really a possible time, in the real,

Astrological sky, then it would be an amazing time to have been born.

Can you imagine the time all around the pinnacle of perfection?

And then I think, 'ahhhhh, that would be quite appropriate for the many saints and seers,

even deities, who were supposed to be born around the same time as the Lord, Himself.

They too would have pretty amazing charts if they, too, were born near Rama!

Thanks for writing in. Yes I also felt he should have said about the planetary

positions, but then i guess he is not into astrology and he has written it from

his standpoint.

Thanks for your deep insight, I just thought maybe this piece from the times

network might be of interest to our astrologers.

 

Btw, I always had this thought, that charts of Lord Ram, Krishna is available,

but what about charts of Varahmihira, Parasara and other sages of astrology.

Does anyone have their charts.
