What is the rule for Graha Malika yoga?

There can be conjunctions within the Graha Maliga anywhere but the

Grahas should be one after another.

Dear Jayashree-ji,

 

Graha Malika is formed when planets are placed continuously in any 5 consecutive

signs (Rahu & Ketu included). i remember Sanjayji mentioning that depending on

where the Graha Malika yoga starts (say from 12th to 4th), or (9th to 1st),

etc, the effects are different. The example used was Sri Krishna's chart where

GM starts in the 9th house and goes all the way to Lagna - in this case it made

him an upholder of Dharma (since GM started from the 9th house).

Hello A. Ramani Ji

What if 3 planets are in each others house. Like for Virgo Lagna,

1. Lagna lord Mer in 3rd House in Sco,

2. Lord of 3rd house Mars is in 2nd house in Libra

3. Lord of 2nd house - Venus is in Lagna in Virgo.

So here actually 3 planets are involved in exchange of houses.

Does such yoga has any name ? what are its significance?

Dear Ramani ji and Jai ji,

 

Many thanks for the clarification. If the graha malika proceeds from

10th house to 4th house, what would be its implication? I observed

this in my sister's chart.

 

Also, I noticed one graha malika in my dasamsa, it starts at 5th

house and goes to 9th house. But, there are 2 caveats - there is one

Sakata yoga (Jupiter 12 to Moon) and an uncomfortable Mars

(between Rahu/Sun and Saturn) within this graha mala. Though 5 - 9

seems to be good, it consists of these subset bad yogas. So do these

negative yogas actually contribute to the graha mala and what do they

convey in essence, if I may ask?

Thanks a lot for this detailed info on Graha Malika Yoga.I have read

the same from your grps site as well.

 

I have seen this in the chart of my friend.He is having this from

the 11th house until the 4th.Jupiter® initiates and Me,Mo,Sa

terminates this.

If I understand well, one of the houses has a planet with a node, right?

 

So the 7 planets (excluded the nodes) are in 7 different houses, and this

gives the Veena Yoga, or in full Sankhya Veena Yoga or Vallaki yoga. The

meaning is: the person is properous, well versed in sacred scriptures,

fond of music and dance, skillful, a leader, and maintainer of many.

 

Of course, the full chart should be read to see in what areas this will

manifest, and if there are no bad yogas as well.

 

Interesting is that my wife has this Yoga in her Saptamsa chart, so we

expect to have a very interesting child there.

I predict childbirth in Sept/Oct next year, so it's soon to come. I think
