Guest guest
Hello Ram: Thanks for your note. Your example of Mleccha is good; however, Mleccha also means foreigners. A lot of us live amongst foreigners and there are good ones and bad ones. The theory of Karma and free-will is so deep and complicated that it may take a life time and probably some divine experience to comprehend. I haven't even ventured into the mass-deaths (plane crashes, earthquakes, etc.)--how can we explain these--have they ALL committed such bad Karma that they had to die a violent death? Also, how do we explain atrocities being committed on children? If you're from Bombay or familiar with the culture there, you'll know that a lot of underaged girls from Nepal and poor states are being sold into prostituion--what bad Karma have these girls done? Why are they being raped and assaulted everyday and these atrocities on their bodies continue for the next 10-12 years of their lives? Is God sleeping when all of these atrocities on TOTALLY, GENUINELY, innocent children are being committed? As I said earlier, I'm not enlightened enough to understand or even pretend to understand the intricacies of the theory of Karma and free- will. I think it takes an enlightened soul to seek the truth and understand this. All I know and understand and practice is if I knowingly do bad to others, bad will happen to me AND if I knowingly do good to other, good will happen to me.
