Guest guest
Hello Friends, My grandfather has taught me that, AN ASTROLOGER MUST ALWAYS STUDY THE INTENTION OF THE PAERON WHO ASKS QUESTIONS. Meaning, , whether he really wants to know the answer to his questions, Or, He is TESTING you. If honourable members are interested, I will, later on post a real incident happened about such "INTENTION". He taught me that INTENTION must be studied before chart. Never to blindly accept details given by people.Varify time, etc. If a horoscope of the person in question is available, to match the PRASNA CHART with the horoscope. If anything is amiss, you will immediately know. When I took up the quiz, I tried to undertand the INTENTION. If you read the questions, you will know that the intention of the person is to test your skills. I am reproducing the questions here, > Mrs. J. DOB 7/7/1945 at 8:55 p.m. Bombay. Capricorn lagna, > Capricorn navamsa. > > Can how many statements given below are true? > > 1. The woman married late. > 2. She has beautiful children. > 3. She became extraordinarily wealthy in Saturn dasa. > 4. She reached the pinnacle in her field before the age of 60. > 5. She has had a very serious disease. > 6. She has a very long-lived father and great support from him. > 7. She hates her siblings and has received no support from them. Once you know that you are being tested, you must decide if the person is your GURU or a layman/another person knowing astrology trying to test you. In the first case, you must verify complete data , and match the mode of questioning and answer. In the second case, you may refuse to entertain the person who asks a question in such a manner. If the intentions are not honourable, never answer. I did the former thing and found that I must check all aspects of the questions and mode of questioning. I hope I have done what an avarage astrologer must do. Rgds Vidyut "
Guest guest
Dear Sreekumar, I think you have completely misunderstood my statement about INTENTION. I meant to say that an astrologer should try and know the INTENTION of the person who puts the question. It has no bearing on Smt Radha's posting for the quiz.I am well aware of the fact that this exercise is to test the skills of the Students like me. I hope that it is clear to you. Rgds Vidyut I can post two incidents that happened some time back. These incidents can illustrate and support my statement about INTENTION of the Jathaka while asking questions. If you are or any other member is interested, I will post them.
Guest guest
Hare Rama Krishna, Namaste Vidyut, You have a nice name indeed. Yes, I am very much interested to see your two incidents to check the intention of the person who is putting the query. Please share with us, if you do not get more requests then write to me privately, as I am interested to know that. Guest guest
Namaste all, Such things are certainly of interest to a lot of people. Anything related to astrology should come to the list and there is no need to use private mail. So Vidyut ji, please write about your incidents and send the mail to the list. Raghunadh, on the other hand, your mail did not have a reason to come here. :-) Seriously, you could've used private mail to Vidyut to convey your interest. There is no need for 1,670 people to know that you are interested. It is enough if Vidyut ji knows it. Now that I have changed the reply settings, one has to consciously change the reply address to send a mail to the entire list instead of one person. Please do it only when you think what you are sending needs to be seen by so many people. If what you are saying is basically meant for one individual, there is no need to send it to the entire list. Please exercise restraint. So many people complaimed to me that the list has too much noise and too little signal these days. I am consciously trying to reduce the unnecessary traffic and improve the signal-to-noise-ratio.
