Guest guest
Dear Partha, > Neither are my visions hallucinations. I did not say that. I never made a *personal* judgment on anyone. It's not my business. If not you, someone else may hallucinate in the name of past life "regression". THAT is my point. Talk of past life regressions does have the danger of encouraging hallucinations. In any case, this is a list for astrology. There is so much to learn in the use of shashtyamsa for future predictions. May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha

Well, integration of other subjects is quite fine, but my caution that there is scope for hallucinations with regressions is quite realistic. If I discuss one's D-60, delineate one's past life from it and give prognostication for the future based on it, it is based on a clear set of principles. Both principles and conclusions are open to discussion, analysis and verification by others. When one says one saw the past life (or the past 100 lives) thru "regression", there is no further scope for such an intelligent discussion and verification. It is a matter of believing it and/or experiencing it, rather than discussion and analysis. When belief is involved, naturally there is an opportunity for hallucination and even misuse. There are great yogis who attained "divya drishti" (divine vision) by activating the ajna chakra, but it is not at all simple. Discussion on such subjects is welcome here, but it is my duty to caution people of the pitfalls. It is easy to hallucinate. You need an excellent guru to make real progress.
