I do see your points clearly and do not underestimate their implications- I have

a huge respect for your knowledge, needless to say-and I appreciate your

writings, and those of knowledgeable astrologers, very much.

We don't see so often good, qualified astroanalysis and predictions, as Mr.

Kumar offered here, which I appreciate. I also take into account that Mr.

Kumar is a new member. It also seems to me that he basically accepts the major

postulates you /we all?/ stand behinds, despite the words used, which sometimes

maybe wrong chosen.

I always hope for a friendly acceptance of new people, those who have something to say,

in particular.

Manner apart?- I don't think so.

I am sorry that my opinion hurt you, and for taking part in this discussion, in fact.

Just didn't want to see new members alienated.

As for matter of your argumentation, I can only accept and learn from you.

Your judgment on my "manner" apart, you very clearly missed the crux of the

discussion, going by the above.

 

Mr. Vijay Kumar defined the concepts that he considers to be the part of

"Parasharic system" and he talked about "not simultaneously recognising"

certain other concepts (which he listed).

 

In the same breath, he said this was fuss. Reading it, probably you too thought it was fuss.

 

But this is a very big point. Requiring the user of D-charts, Vimsottari dasa

etc (i.e. "Parasharic system) to "not simultaneously recognise" a lot of

conepts like chara karakas, sign aspects, arudhas etc is a BIG point. It is a

standard misconception not granted by either Parasara or Jaimini.

 

Mind you, the issue is not whether Parasara should get credit for a certain

concept or Jaimini. The issue is, for example, whether I can use arudhas when I

judge Vimsottari dasa. The bone of contention is the phrase "not simultaneously

recognise".

 

Those who think this argument is over semantics haven't paid attention. The

disagreement has quite serious implications.
