Guest guest
|Namah Shivaaya| Namaste Raghunadha, Visti Larsen dwelled into the topic of Baadhaka and use of these Mantras in the W. Coast conference 2003, as presented by the SJC. Your list is correct, from my notes, My understanding of the use: Use "Om" Before starting the Mantra. Use "ey Namah" at the end of the Mantra. For example: Om Ganapatayaey Namah Now, Mantras can be modified depending on their use as well as how it will benefit the native. I am not familiar with the in-depths on Mantra usage, but the above should help. Take care. Best wishes, and light, Nitin. :> vedic astrology, Rao Nemani <raon1008> wrote: > Hare Rama krishna > > Namaste Guru's and Learned Members, > > I am trying to get the Ganesh Mantra's for the 12 Rasi's. Guest guest
Namaste Raghunadh, Just one correction. Like Nitin said, add "Om" at the beginning and "-aaya namah" at the end. For example, Aries is "Om Vakratundaaya namah", Taurus is "Om Ekadantaaya Namah" and so on. The only exception is Aquarius. The name corresponding to it is "Ganapati". It ends with "i", while other names end with "a". Correspondingly, the 4th vibhakti form is different. It becomes "Om Ganapataye Namah". * * * Remember the rule for 4th vibhakti form: Masculine words: If word ends with "a" (e.g. Krishna), make it "aaya". If word ends with "i" (e.g. Hari), make it "aye". If word ends with "u" (e.g. Guru), make it "ave". Feminine words: If word ends with "aa" (e.g. Durgaa), make it "aayai". If word ends with "i" (e.g. Gouri), make it "yai". I hope it is clear. Guest guest
If i'm not mistaken Visti had advised us to add Hoom at the end. So if our badhak is placed in say aries, we would have to pick the form of ganesha that is the seventh therefrom (so libra). Hence the mantra would be - VighnaRaja-ye Hum (hoom) This should take care of the badhak. vedic astrology, "Nitin" <astronitin> wrote: > |Namah Shivaaya| > > Namaste Raghunadha, > > Visti Larsen dwelled into the topic of Baadhaka and use of these > Mantras in the W. Guest guest
Dear Narasimhaji - I remember Sanjay-ji mentioning that for a common person (who is not a yogi/sadhak) they should omit the "om." Also, from the other discussions, I picked up that adding "Namah" at the end makes it a neutral ending, where one is not looking for anything specifically. However to help break something, "hoom" is used. Would you be kind enough to clarify these doubts? Thank you much in advance. Kind Regards, - Jai Balagopal vedic astrology, "pvr108" <pvr@c...> wrote: > Namaste Raghunadh, > > Just one correction. > > Like Nitin said, add "Om" at the beginning and "-aaya namah" at the > end.
