Correct. > 2) Monthly TP is cast each month when the moon and sun are exactly the same > distance apart as they were in the original birth chart. Correct. > 3) daily TP - I dont have a clue how to calculate this one?? The above two are from tradition. The third one is an extrapolation by my guru Pt. Sanjay Rath and me. However, I recommend it confidently. On any day that gives an important event (good or bad), the event will clearly show in the daily chart and hora lord or lagna lord is involved. How to calculate: Well, divide the month into 30 equal parts, using Sun-Moon longitude differential as the measure of time. Suppose someone was born with Moon ahead of Sun by 141.345 deg. Then, a new month starts (i.e. monthly TP chart is cast) everytime Moon is ahead of Sun by 141.345 deg in transit. The first day of the month ends when Moon is ahead of Sun by 141.345+12=153.345 deg in transit. The second day of the month ends when Moon is ahead of Sun by 141.345+24=165.345 deg in transit. The third day of the month ends when Moon is ahead of Sun by 141.345+36=177.345 deg in transit. And so on. Everytime Sun-Moon longitude differential advances by 12 deg, one day completes in the life of the native. This also translates into the percentage of tithi left. Suppose one was born when 26.7383% of birth tithi was left. Whenever 26.7383% of any tithi is left, a new day starts and daily TP chart is cast. When 26.7383% of the tithi that matches birth tithi is left, a new month starts and monthly TP chart is cast. When this happens with Sun occupying nhis natal sign, a new year starts and annual TP chart is cast. I hope that is clear. > Best wishes> > Kasim May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha
