Guest guest
Dear Vishwanadham My replies below >I have a couple of questions. > > If so why we have different forms of `Gods'? A) Krishna has clearly explained in Gita, that people pray to different gods, due to the different "modes" of existence. By worshipping them, they will not go to Satyaloka, they will go to the lokas of the Gods, and demigods. > If God is within then why do we worship God in different external forms? a) We worship gods externally, because we are "used" to seeing things outside us. We have never realised that all is within "ONE". This ONE needs to be realised. If you draw a triangle, there is a top, this top if only one point. That point is "ONE", that Point is GOD. but we are used to the bottom and the different manifestations due to the "natural habit" of using physical senses to sense things, and not transcending these physical senses. THrough meditation all the Karmendriyas and whatever Indras that we have are dissolved, and then we realise the Parabrahma, the Sadashiva and The NARAYANA. > I have learnt that Jyotish is Vedanga , which lets us know the `gati of the soul'. As a result vedic astrology prescribes various remedies for aligning the body and mind with the soul's direction. To remove the conflict and ensure smooth voyage. a) Yes Jyotishya is the eye of vedas, it shows us the different manifestations, the KAAL, the TIME. AS long as we are "in time" we have to use charts. Charts can be used for those people who are "bound" by time, and bound by obligations, bound by Karma, bound by actions. Astrology cannot be used for those who have attained the "SUPREME INDEPENDENCE". > In this context, I like to know your take on different external forms of worship? And the efficacy of the remedies! a) Remedies WORK!!, this might be a relief to many, who could be thinking that i had gone beserk. Why do remedies work, the reason is simple. AS long as you are in a "system", you have to follow the "rules of the system". This system is Prakriti, the MOTHER. So as long as you are with mother, she would feed you, so as long as you are in "time", bound by Karma, you need remedies prescribed like mantra japa etc, to reach the "end of time". SInce i am in the womb of mother, i do mantra and puja. But when i am meditating, i never use mantras of japas. I simply sit and watch myself, and watch the breath. This in other words is "Abstract meditation". WHen you are uttering a word, and uttering mantras, you are still in "mind", you are still in "time", you cannot go beyond time and space. To reach beyound time and space, you must let go off everything, even your own self! love partha
