Guest guest
Hare Rama Krishna, Dear Shirish, Let me attempt to give you on what is my understanding on the Varnada Lagna (VL). Request Guru's and Learned members to correct me if I am wrong somewhere. How to compute the VL:- ====================== For the definition of VL, please read Sanjay Ji's "Jaimini Maharsishi's Upadesa Sutras". Take the longitudes of lagna and horalagna (HL). If one of them is in an even sign, subtract the longitude from 360 deg. Add the two longitudes if lagna and HL are in the sign of same oddity (odd-odd or even-even). If one is in an odd sign and the other in an even sign, take the difference instead. If lagna is in an even sign, subtract this result from 360 deg. The final result gives the longitude of VL. Meaning:- ======== In Sanskrit the Varna means caste. So the VL denotes the type of people one deals with. VL in D-10 shows the kind of people one deals with in one's work/career/profession. Like A7 in D-10 can represent people one would associate with for example, the colleagues, friends etc., and VL in D-10 can denote people one would deal with. Note the key difference here AL ASSOCAITES and VL DEAL's with. Hope this may be helpful to you.
