Vimshotari Dasa is one of the widely practised DASA System. Especially in South India . And this system is the Master Key to South Indian Astrologers to be accurate. The more the experience in reading Vimshotari Dasa the Better we get. I happen to come across a few local South Indian astrologers .. They dont blindly Put the effects of DASA but they use this system which I will expain now .. This is a common system among them all. With out using this system Predictions should not be made . This is applicable for the 7 planets and not Rahu and Ketu dasam. For a Dasa planet to give its effects it needs the help of a BHOHAKA, VEDHAKA, PACHAKA & KARAKA. Dasa planet is like the FACTORY. BHOAKA is like the people who make the factory run. VEDHAKA is the people who separate the good PHALA & bad Phala. PACHAKA are the vehicles that carry the good & bad phala to the Karaka. Karaka is the authority that makes the Person use the acquired product. Example -- A person is running his JUPITER DASA - Jupiters BHODHAKA planet is KUJA. So if Kuja is weak he cant allow Jupiter to give its full effects even though JUPITER is strong in the chart. If JUPITERS VEDHAKA planet isnt strong .. then there will be mixed results of GOOD and BAD. If PACHAKA Planet isnt strong then the native doesnt get the correct measure of Good and bad Pahalas. If all the DASA PLANET, BHODHAKA, VEDHAKA, PACHAKA are strong and weak KARAKA planet .. then the person though gets good wealth, fame and etc in his dasa .. he wont be able to make use of it. For Sun ..
