Do these eclipses trigger personal and national events. If true Of what nature are these, is some pooja to be performed to ward off any evil effects. However, as Sanjayji says, Hari's name is the best during that time. I have noticed from the last few yrs some significant change/major event in life of natives after the eclipse but have no astrological theory to back it up or any statistical research.
