Guest guest
~ Om Namah Shivaya ~ Dear Abhijeet, Why it is very very difficult to visit all 12 Jyotilingas in ones's lifetime. One can go to one jyotilinga per year, as people normally go on vacation. So in 12 years, or say if you go once in 2 years, then also in 24 years, one can visit all 12 jyotilingas. Is there some other reason also. if yes, I would like to know. In fact I didn't knew about all these 12 jyotilingas, though I had seen people going to rameshwaram and all that. So from this list only, 2-3 days, I thought that I would like to visit all 12 jyotilingas. Anyways, thanks for wishes Kind regards, Neeraj Gupta --- anr75 <anr75 wrote: > Dear Neeraj, > > Good Luck !! Guest guest
dear sunil, as per my knowledge the jyotirlingas are scatterd all over india and in partiular all 4 sides, i.e. north, south, east and west of india. the balance are in the middle of india in different states. the list statewise is as follows. 1. uttar pradesh - 2 (kedarnath, vishwanath) 2. gujarat - 1 (somnath) 3. madhya pradesh - 2 (omkareshwar and mahakaleshwar) 4. maharashtra - 4 (tryambakeshwar, grishneshwar, vaijjanath and nageshwar). 5th bhimashankar near pune is doubtful. 5. andhra pradesh - 1 (mallikarjun) 6. tamil nadu - 1 (rameshwar) 7. assam - 1 (bhimashankar) apart from these jyotirlingas, in karnataka atma linga is there. my knowledge is very limited and gurus/learned people on this list can correct me. tvr - Sunil John vedic astrology Sunday, September 21, 2003 8:57 PM Re: [vedic astrology] Re: 12 Jyotlingas - Neeraj Attachment: (image/jpeg) 3693.jpg [not stored]
