Guest guest
~ Om Namah Shivaya ~ Dear List Members, Whoever is facing problem of getting #VALUE. Kindly do the following. 1) Copy the "swedll32.dll" into c:\winnt and c:\winnt\System32 folder (for windows 2000 users) 2) Windows98 users, plz copy "swedll32.dll" file to c:\windows\System32. 3) Or wherever you have installed your operating system. Other OS users may try to search "*.dll" files on their system, and in the directory in which you get maximum .dll files (it is the directory in which OS is installed) Problem was that sunrise is a function defined in excel chart, and it's definition is in "swedll32.dll" file. So Excel was unable to find function and hence it was diplaying #Value (means no result) If I am writing very much technical, kindly excuse me (I have studied computers most of the time). I hope the above should solve the purpose for most of the users. If not, please write to me with telling what operating system you are using, and I might be of some help to you. Guest guest
~ Om Namah Shivaya ~ Namasate Raghunadha Rao, I just got down to the basics and found that in Cell B8, function used in Sunrise. Now this cannot be a function for excel, so it must be user created function. User created functions must reside in path of system, where OS finds executable files. The zip file had one DLL (Dynamic Link Library). So, just putting the DLL file to the correct location was the key for it. As simple as that. Guest guest
Dear Sarajit and Members, The "Jyotish Calcualtor" has the same bug as Anilkumar Kedia's VBA named "Even-Dasha-Transit" has had, which is a very comprehenise work and found on group archive. That is user's defined functions and macros often do not work on Excel when you input new data. And we see #VALUE!. Though they may work correctly sometime but not consistently. I myself could not remove the problem in other such VBA too. As far as the matter of file "sewdll32.dll" is conern, it is an indispensible part of nearly all the non-commercial astrology software. As it is the only free dll ephemeris available online (along with many other examples files of VB, C, C++ and Delphy etc). I am attching that file with the mail. But the bug probably wont remove. That is some time "Jyotish Calc Ver 0.1" will work correctly and sometime will not. (sewdll32.dll is attached, download it and put in Jyotish Calc Ver 0.1 folder) Regards M.IMRAN Neeraj Gupta <gupta_neeraj_2000 > wrote: ~ Om Namah Shivaya ~Namasate Raghunadha Rao,I just got down to the basics and found that in CellB8, function used in Sunrise. Guest guest
~ Om Namah Shivaya ~ Respected Gurudeva Ramdas Ji, It would be my pleasure to solve your problem. See if you can find directory c:\windows\system32 or C:\windows\System or C:\Winnt\system32 or c:\winnt\System. I have not worked on windows XP, so giving you all the possible combinations (that windows platform use) If any of these directories exist, copy the "swedll32.dll" file there, and it should work. If your windows is installed on some other drive say "D:" then the path will become d:\windows\system32. Hope this helps. If there is still a problem, kindly write back to me again.
