Essentially out of the 9 navamsas in every sign (aries, taurus, etc), there are

2 auspicious navamsas called pushkara navamsas(PNs). There is also a pushkara

bhaga in every sign (similarily a mrityu bhaga). Anyway, the PNs are always

owned by benefics (Jup, Ven, Mer, Moo). It is considered auspicious to have a

planet located in this navamsa esp the Moon, AK or AmK.

 

It is interesting to note that some of the planets remain debilitated in navamsa

if they occupy this pushkara navamsa. Ex. Sun between 20deg0min - 23deg-20min

(PN in Aries) falls in the 7th navamsa (libra) - although exalted in rasi it is

debilitated in navamsa ; Or Mercury between 6deg40min and 10deg0min (PN in

taurus (rasi)) will be in pisces navamsa; Or Mars being in debility both in

rasi and navamsa if it is between 0deg0min and 3deg20min (PN in Cancer)). So

something to think about.
