Guest guest
Dear Narasimha, I agree with what you have said in so far as the form of Agni is concerned. The difference of opinion is to equating Swaahaa to surrender. When one makes an offering of one's ego to atman so that it no longer remains, it could be made by uttering Swaahaa. Surrender, at least to me, means the offering retains the physical form, and must be different from what is indicated by offering which looses form when it is accepted on invocation of Swaahaa. May be I lack communication skills or choice of proper words to convey the meaning. I can not comment on the Mantra for Anahata Chakra but its meaning would indicate that Krishna,Govinda and Gopivallabha are being offered, the logic is not clear. Guest guest
Dear Narasimha, Does the 4th vibhakti, then not apply to "Indraaya Swaahaa" or Taxakaaya swaahaa" the mantra used to draw Taxaka to the Agin kinda of Yadhna organised by King Janmejaya? And if it does, then did the rishi mean that Agni/Janmejaya was being offered to them? If so why was the Yadhna organised by King Janmejaya ? If my memory serves right it was to avenge the death of his father by Taxaka-snake bite. It certainly not to offer himself or Agni to Indra or Taxaka. If I am wrong please correct me. Regards, Chandrashekhar. pvr108 wrote: > Dear Chandrashekhar ji, > > > I can not > > comment on the Mantra for Anahata Chakra but its meaning would > indicate > > that Krishna,Govinda and Gopivallabha are being offered, the logic > is > > not clear. > > Nope, it's the reverse.
