||Om Brihaspataye Namah||Dear Sunil,With reference to our earlier discussion on

the transit of Ju in Le, I am providing the details for one friend who is

getting married this month as requested by you.Details: 29/08/2003, 6 - 7.30 am

at Chennai.I notice that people in South India are not duly concerned about the

Ju transit in Le unlike in North India where the entire marriage industry has

been driven into depression! Thus I can glean three factors at work here: (a)

Ju's transit in certain nakshatras of Le (b) Ju's transit in Le, opposite to Aq

© mostly confined to North India. Let me know if you have made any progress in

understanding this issue.regardsHariArchives:

Namaste ?? (Sridhar?),

So the entire area (band) of the world defined roughly by upper and

lower lines passing through Ganga and Godavari should be considered

as unsuitable for marriage? What is the reason/justification for

fixing this area geographically?

regards

Hari

the part of Indian Continent that lies between GANGA and Godavari.

So if you ar south of Godavari, i.e. in Tqamil Nadu, or North of

Ganges, say (U.K.) there is no restriction. The rule is only for

marriages, and not for other relegious functions.

I DO NOT KNOW THE LOGIC/REASON BEHIND THID TRADITIONAL RULES. I HAVE ONLY

STATED WHAT I HAVE READ IN THE TRADITIONAL PANCHANGS.

The trend of questioning, the reason or logic behind rules given by our

ancestors is a Modern Phenomenon. The older generation, simply accepted the

rules.

Dear Sridarji,

Greetings

Pls dont mind if i plunge in here, I think the trend of questioning

is a very imp phase in human developement, if done so with a pure

intention of understanding things at a deeper and subtler level.

If i am not wrong Sanjayji always says to keep on asking and thinking

and not just accept things blindly.

I think somewhere he wrote that Mars, SAt and Jup have special & diff

aspects from each other and what is the reason behind it, I have been

trying to think on it for some days now but havent found any logical

answer, if there are learned members who know it pls shed some light

on it.

My english can be grammatically wrong so i will restate it, if all

planets have 7th aspect ( considering straight look is always there)

then why do Mars have 4,7,8 and Jup has 5,7,9 - why this difference.

That is what i am thinking.

Pls take my letter in the right light and it isnt meant to be in any

way rude.

Best wishes to you

Sunil John
