W.r.t. to the views opined by Shri. Ramani Alwar, I compliment the following;

Mr. Saddam was born in Variyan yoga this crippled with the presence three

planets in the 6th house had made him a bad character. His astama Saturn and

present Vimshotri dasa (by sage Parasara) more particularly from 2nd October

2002 to 2nd April 2003 Moon/Sun bukthi, 3rd April 03 to 29th Aug 03 Mars/Mars

bukthi indicates loss of his sons, from 30th Aug 2003 to 16th Sept 2004

Mars/Mars bukthi indicates his confinement. Further the loss of his sons could

also be interpreted from the presence of Saturn on Aridra (Jupiter’s bindu in

Taurus * Jupiter’s sody pinda / 27. The remainder is 20, since Saddam was born

in waning period count 20 from Chitra we get Aridra). Further Saddam's

longevity could be termed as thirghaysu by considering the positions of Mercury

and Saturn, if so the present Vimshotri dasa of Mars is said

to be maraga dasa. (ref. Sundarasakeram)
