Saturn and Venus aspects is a must for a Tapasvi/Astrologer,.Besides 11th lord be an "atmakaraka". Jupiter's presence is a plus in the lagna or aspect to lagna. Another one is that the Atmakaraka must influence the 11th house. In divisional chart such as Navamsa Ketu must influence the 1st or 5th from swamsa. Would not Aquarius, Taurus, Leo and Scorpio lagna people have a pre disposition to this? since Mercury and Jupiter lord the relevent houses. I hope it is not out of context but how do we see strong intuition? Are there other well known combinations or rules to look for other than the ones listed above? The more of these you have, the better: 1. Tapaswi yoga explained below 2. Rahu or Ketu in swamsa (lagna orkarakamsa) or 5th 3. Jupiter and Ketu to give knowledge from tradition 4. Atmakaraka in 11th house or associated with 11th Lord in Rasi 5. Matya yoga (full or at least partly formed) 6. Strong Mars like in Ruchak mahapurusha yoga 7. Strong association os Aswini, Hasta, Satabhisaj etc nakshatra with yoga forming planets or Karmarsha nakshatra 8. 8th lord associating with the houses of knowledge 9. Dhimantah yoga associating with these combinations/nakshatra for Jyotish. ....I can go on and have not yet touch surya chandra AL etc...start studying. So make our chart and list them out and see which planets give you jyotish.
