Why WOMEN in Menses not allowed in Temple or to worship?

Dear Jyotishis

 

Can someone please explain (Astrological reasons, if any??)why a

woman in menses period is not allowed to enter temple, or even

worship the god at home?? What CURSE will there be if she does?

 

Interested to know answer from Astrology scholars, rather than the

local brahmin priest who can't explain in depth!
