Guest guest
Namaste Mukund and all, There is one important angle that I forgot to mention. Use the 3 parts rule. Libra is a seershodaya rasi (rises with head). So the first one-third (June 2002-Feb 2004) gives the results of the sign. Libra is the 12th house. It gives expenses, spirituality etc. They will be the dominant results in this one-third. In the middle one-third (Feb 2004-Oct 2005), the results of the lord are given. Lord Venus is well-placed from lagna with a raja yoga. The results of that raja yoga are given then. Finally, the last one-third gives the results of planets occupying and aspecting the sign (Li). In Ar dasa, dwara and bahya both contain malefics (Mars and a node). So, there is some physical pain. This happens in the first one-third (dwara and bahya give their results in the portion of the sign). >From AL (arudha lagna), arudha of Libra (bhoga) is placed in a quadrant. So, you will be able to experience the good results of the dasa materially. You will have material success, especially in the middle one-third (bhoga gives its results in the portion corresponding to the lord). There is more, but I have to stop now. More later. This is simply your personal opinion and many of us consider Sanjay ji's books to be the best.> > Each author has his/her own style of writing. One cannot and need not imitate another. It is none of your business to ask Sanjay ji to follow my style/structure. This advice is totally unwarranted.> > Anyway, on a positive note, we did indeed team up for one book. A book on "Tithi Pravesha" (lunar return charts), co-authored by the two of us, will go to press next spring. I expect this book to have a big impact on the predictive accuracy of readers. More than 80% of the correct predictions I made in the last 4 years have been based on TP! Unless somebody is asking a question about something fairly long-term, I directly go to the annual TP chart these days.> > > > Well, enough input on Sanjay's books. Also, Rahu is transiting > > Aries > > > currently as well.> > Step 1: Find the sign that gives results.> > Your dasas started from Taurus, the 7th house. So Narayana dasa is the progression of the 7th house (and NOT lagna). So, during Aries dasa, Aries is the progressed 7th house! So progressed lagna is actually Libra. It is Libra that gives results in Aries dasa.> > Step 2: Analyze the influences on the sign.> > In your rasi chart, Li is the 12th house with Ketu in it. Undoubtedly, you will become more and more spiritual during this dasa. Li contains GL. You will enjoy some power and authority.> > Step 3: Take the sign as lagna and analyze the natal rasi chart.> > Taking Li as lagna, Saturn in 6th, Mercury in 9th, Jupiter & Venus in 10th and Moon in 11th are well-placed. Rahu in 7th is not well-placed and Mars in 12th is also bad. The 2nd and 7th lord in 12th can give some trouble related to money/family/marriage. The worst-placed planet is 11th lord Sun in 8th. It can show some worries/problems from influential/political friends.> > But, overall, most planets are well-placed. The best placed planets are 6th lord Jupiter exalted in 10th and 9th lord Mercury in 9th. Career will be excellent and protection will be high. It is a good time for your dad too (more specific results can be ontained from D-12 Narayana dasa).> > Step 4: Analyze the dasa pravesh chart or DPC (key step).> > Your Ar dasa started on 2002 June 14 at 16:49:20 (using 360 degree years). The dasa pravesh chart is cast for this time. One combination that stands out in DPC is the raja yoga between lagna lord Venus and 10th Lord Moon in 10th. This dasa will be good for career. You can mix the indications from natal chart and DPC like this and make more predictions. > > Step 5: Analyze transits.> > Ketu is transiting in Libra, just as in the natal chart. So spirituality will become strong. Saturn's transit in 9th is not that good, but Mercury in own sign in natal chart and Jupiter in that sign in DPC are making Gemini strong and guarding it. So Saturn's transit cannot trouble that much. Jupiter is transiting in 11th from dasa sign (Leo). The 11th (Leo) is strong in natal chart also and 10th lord is in it. So Jupiter's transit brings gains in career. And so on.> > An after-thought. The 11th lord Sun in 8th from Li in natal rasi chart can also show a lot of occult learning. The strength of 8th in DPC, which contains both the 5th lords of scholarship, also suggests the same thing. You will make a lot of progress in occult learning.> > These readings are not exhaustive, but I tried to explain the procedures. There are many more angles to it and they are all well-explained in Sanjay ji's wonderful book "Narayana Dasa". Read it more carefully.> > May Jupiter's light shine on us,> Narasimha
