Sorry to digress, but I am just curious. My intention was not to disprove you, but I thought the dictum probably meant something else and may not be correct if we take a literal meaning, since one in every 12 person in the world will have such a combination. AK exalted and vargottama in Karakamsa is a good point. Regarding my birth time, I got it verified through the super-natural powers of Yogi Karve. Guest guest Posted December 25, 2003 Report Share Posted December 25, 2003 siva has a valid point to make. i also gave consultations to vipin. i did not go into d-charts because of the same reason. other examples that u quoted with the view that a person who is not born in royal family can also have such yogas. u r correct. i had a chart in which retro atmakaraka was in navamsa lagna. i read mr. goel 's article who also wrote abt d-10 in alst issues in jd magazine. he is of the view that we can calculate degrees of planets & bhava midpoints even in d-charts, & check the effectiveness of planet in the respective bhava (read last issue of j d ). i did that in that case. retro mercury was almost at the rasi-sandhi of navamsa lagna. it was with saturn. he said that the native might have been born in high class family but he may end up in financial/social troubles. though this theory is still needs lot of research & verification before acceptence, but it shows there can b various possibilities of dictums not working always/ btw, if u want to calculate degrees in navamsa, here is an ex: divide the degrees by 3deg 20min. multiply the remainder by 9. still dictum will show some results, this doesnt make the dictum abs zero. that native was def from elite class. what will happen is just a prediction, can only b verified in future. regards prashant it is just a suggestion, others might hold different views.
