Guest guest
Dear List members In The classic Saravali it is mentioned that Sun is the initiator of a yoga and Moon is the ripener, the baker or the sustainer. Any yoga of different planets have to be understood from a spiritual standpoint. Sun sits at the Sahasrara, and he is the "initiator" of thought, this thought is percolated down to Ajna Chakra where Mother sits, and Mother gives it "feeds it" and makes it a "perception", this perception becomes a reality once it goes down further. Let me give an example. A scientist like Edison may first get a thought about "light" in the form of a small bulb. This thought is slowly given a shape, a form. After analysis(air), and further distillation(fire-digestion), there is a creative pilot project(water, venus). ANd then finally the output takes a material form(Earth, Gross shape). Thus any yoga has to be understood as an Union between two forces. These forces would give us an understanding. People might be aware of the three Pin PLUG. The three pins are positive, negative and earth. Religious people might have heard of Ganga, Yamuna and saraswati. Saraswati is not visible. legend has it that Saraswati dried up and flows inside the "earth". This three rivers are the three currents, the ida, pingala and Sushumna. The sushumna balances out the other two, The object of life is to get a balance between 4th house(home) and 10th house(work), between 3rd house(copulation) and 9th house (dharma), between self(1st) and the partner(7th house). What happens when there is a short circuit-there is a fuse. What is fuse-IT is YOGA. The earth, (the Mooladhara) balances these two great currents. ANd hence "prevents" shocks. Mars-venus yoga, can give some problems related to relationships, as two opposing forces of Fire(Ram-mars) and water(Venus-vam) are conjoined. The intensity can be gauged through the distance in the longitudes. THe thought is always an impulse, there are hundreds of stimuli bombarding us every minute, but we "choose" only some for a stable living. This sometimes hinders our understanding of "nature", which is dynamic and turbulent. Sun gives the light, the "USHA KIRAN", this first ray initiates the yoga. But remember if sun is weak in a chart, the "manifestation"(moon) may not be so pleasant. All the external manifestations such as mountains, lakes, turbulences, ships, people, universes are within us. Realise them.
