Dear Mr. Dutta,

 

The conjunction is perhaps the matter of greatest influence a planet may impart

on the cusp. The another being the planetary aspect.

 

A fact is to be appreciated that a planet has both positive and negative

influences and my feeling is that when the avastha of a planet is strong (such

as in exaltation), the positive ones are more highlighted. Similarly, the

weaker planet ( such as in debilitation) shows more of its negative traits. As

an example, the positive side of a strong Mars is the Strength, Courage,

Constructive Ego, Open outlook and Charitable nature whereas the negative side

of a weaker Mars indicates Backbiting, Cowardice etc.

 

However, the status of a planet need be validated in D-9 where the situations

may overturn sometimes.
