Few doubts from V-Dasa & Udu Dasa Book

1) Page 147 : 3rd sentese in the Last para. Further Venus has gained 8

navamsas in the sign indicating the possibility of 8 marriages. I could not

understand this, becuase, the 7th lord Venus is palced in 5th house which is Pi

in Rasi. In D-9, Venus is placed in Aq, so how come this has gained 8 navamsas,

this should be 11 navamsas, isn't it?. * Please Refer the attached Chart of

Elizabeth Taylor.jhd

 

REPLY: For planets in watery signs the Navamsas are counted from Cancer. Aq is

8th from Cancer. You need to check any std book for it.

2) Page 148 : 2nd sentese in the 3rd para. This 2nd from UL is afflicted by

Ketu indicating that for three years or till the birth of a child there shall

be marital disharmony as Ketu the Moksha karaka promotes celibacy and

emancipation from rebirth. Why 3 years here for Ketu ?* Please Refer the

attached Chart of Elizabeth Taylor.jhd

REPLY: Pls check a mail from Sanjayji a few months ago! Even i am not clear

about it, though he said it is known to any village astrologer. Anyway i am

only a learner.

3) Page 164 : 4nd sentese in the 1st para. in the placement of Jup in the

Lagna aspected by Mars and Saturn by the seventh and tenth house aspect. I see

mars in 7th but Sun in 10th instead of Saturn, what is that I am missing here. *

REPLY: As far as i remember, Saturn is exalted and gives Graha drishti on Jupiter in Cancer Lagna.

In the 1st example,see Shukra is in Meena Rasi and so 1st navamsha starts from

Karka Rashi and so 8th Navamsha falls in Kumbha Rasi.

In your 2nd query,Ketu is having an aragala with Guru ® who is in 11th from

Ketu and Guru indicates No.3 and hence 3 years. ( This is what I suppose )

In the last query,it is clearly mentioned that Kuja aspects from 7th and Shani

through 10th house aspect.Here Shani in Tula aspects Lagna and Guru with

Chandra through his 10th house aspect.

Sagittarius.

I.e. this

could happen either after 3 years (Jupiter is number 3) or after the birth of a

child – Jupiter.

Hence the

standard prediction is that Ketu will cause disturbances for 3 years –

during which the marriage could break.

taught that the natural ages of planets are connected to Numerology and the

Naisargika Dasa. Hence can be used in

predictions.

The logic presented by you is questionable. What is the connection

between the two statements? How can a number that indicates Ju be

equated to the time that it would achieve the traits of being

exalted in Sg?

Thank you for clarifying my doubts and I am 90% clear but not

100%, because, I still did not understand the logic for

Jupiter = 3.

 

May I request you to please give me the sequence of these

numbers ( 1=?,2=?,3=Jup,4....etc.,) , and/or also point me

to a standard text, so thatI can study a little more and

understand this topic clearly.
