Guest guest
Dear Narashima, This was brought by a guy in another forum and is using JHL 5.0 and he seems to think there is bug in JHL 5.0 and has raised a quite a valid point, i agree to his point, unless i am missing something... So i just wanted to check with the creator of this wonderful software application which is helping lot of vedic astrology students.. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> His Comments >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hi guys, I have noticed something unusual about JHL5.0 just recently or for that matter even the previous version of JHL. When I feed in my brith details 6 aug 1980 12:03 am (just after midnite) Bombay It gives the weekday as tuesday when infact I was born on a wednesday. I dont know why this is happening, has anyone experienced this too? Check under the weekday in the main page, where all the general information like yoga of the day, thiti, lunar month etc are given. There in my case it gives weekday as tuesday. Where as according to the calender it is a wednesday morning just after midnite. Could someone shed some light on this as to what the secert behind this is??? regards Ums >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hi folks, Well thanks for explaning the idea behind it. But what I find funny now and ridicolus is the fact that JHL uses the gregorian clander and the Julian Calender. To date the postiions of planets. To basically the calculations are based on the dates and times that run according to the gerogian or the julian calnder. This can be seen in the top right corner of the JHL program. Yet it is funny that the day Im born gets calculated by the hindu calender. So this give me two questions. 1. What Calender are we excatly using in JHL ?? Is it the hindu calnder, the gregorian or the julian. Also if I draw up my chart in astroexperts it gives my day as wednesday. So who is doing correct astrology? 2. Secondly, what day am I really born on. If its a tuesday then my mars gets very strong and if its a wednesday then my mercury plays a crucial role in my life. What does not make compelte sense to me is that the positions of the planets are calculated withrespect to the greogrian calender. Where as my brith day is calculated according to the hindu system...??? regards Ums >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I guess this guy has a valid point and is confused totally !!! PVR your comments are most welcomed.... If it is a bug you can take it as to do and can release bug fix/patch in near future... thanks Abhijeet
