Guest guest
Dear Mukund and Nrsma I think Mukund raises an interesting point . From what I have seen public predictions even by the big name astrologers such as K N Rao , Sanjay Rath , Nrsma Rao , , Chakrapani have a fairly mixed and limited record . I haven't seen a vedic astrologer who performs at such a level that they would sew seeds of doubt in a hardened skeptic . My experience is that the best jyotish comes out when the astrologer is just using the divine science to help others rather than making public predictions or solving puzzles. I have seen people come stressed to a Vedic astrologer who then produces a masterful and accuarate reading . But the same astrologer flounders when trying to predict the course of public events . I suspect it is the way of the creator to keep us humble. Nicholas Narasimha P.V.R. Dude, nobody is forcing you to learn anything. You have no business calling it "mumbo, jumbo". Sanjay did indeed teach gems from tradition that are not available anywhere else. Examples are Tithi Pravesha and Kashninatha Hora chart. If you are overwhelmed by this and want to believe that this knowledge is not worth learning, please walk away instead of bad-mouthing us. It is quite uncivil to call it "mumbo, jumbo" just because you suddenly feel so. BTW, Sanjay's grandpa is Pt. Jagannath Rath. Kashninath ji is his paternal uncle. > And, the reality is that NO ASTROLOGER including the great ones like > Sanjay, KN Rao, Braha, Huock (deceased), Rohini Ranjan can make an > accurate prediction. -- Ya, they are all VERY GOOD at post-> moterm,i.e. associating events (after they've happened) to planetary > combinations; howeve, none can make an accurate prediction or even > dare to make predictions as the probability of failing is extremely > high and they know it. -- Just take the case of Sachin Tendulkar, if > you ask one of these great astrologers, ALL will come up with some > planetary excuse for his recent faliures; however, no-one accurately > predicted his faliure (before the fact), in-fact, Narshimha predicted > a GOOD score for Sachin. > > Mukund In a message on this list in September 2002, you wrote the following (you addressed me as "PVR"): "PVR, you're are a true guru. What intrigues me is that how can you predict stuff about my wife (that too 3rd) from MY CHART? And all of these prediction about a wife from a husbands chart is accurate—you have never seen my wife's chart before making this prediction. Thanks for everything, hope you keep helping people for many more years to come." Please check the following message for the quotes: Your mail: vedic astrology/message/17857 The above message was posted by you and hence you have the right to delete it in the archives. In case you do so, readers can access your mail above quoted in my reply at: vedic astrology/message/17860 Now you claim that no astrologer can actually "make an accurate prediction". This is unfair at best and childish at worst. Several members, including me, solved 'blind puzzles' on this list and made public predictions, several times successfully. Sometimes, some of us made predictions to members (or their friends), which were confirmed later. If you allow some failures to color your vision and make a sweeping statement such as what you made above, it only demonstrates how immature and/or confused you are. Just contrast the quote I gave from Sept 2002 and the sweeping generalization you wrote above! How can somebody so "intrigued" by "accurate" predictions about "my wife (that too 3rd) from MY CHART" say that "none can make an accurate prediction" about the whole astrologer community? I hope your inconsistency is due to immaturity and lack of clarity of thinking, rather than dishonesty, insincerity or any kind of vindictiveness. I most certainly do not want credit that I do not deserve. If my knowledge is incomplete and a prediction goes wrong, I am humble enough to accept failure and patient enough to study more and keep trying. But, your attack on me and the entire community is unjustified.
