All Hindu scriptures came from Gayatri mantra

Dear friends,

When Lord Vishnu felt "Ekoham Bahushyami"(wants to be many more from

One), first of all a lotus came from his neval and He created Lord

Brahma on it and gave him a job to create universe where a lot like

Him can flourish. Brahmaji used His Tamas shakti and created Panch

mahabhoots(5 essential factors of life), earth, sky, water, air and

fire. Then the atoms of all those combened with oneanother to form

Prakriti, the pysical bodies like human, animals, rivers, trees and

so on. Now He used His Sat shakti and put a fraction of God in each

of them and they became alive. Now there has to be principles to live

life for each of them, which He gave in the form of 24 letters which

according to grammer, falls in to Gayatri Chanda. So the mantra

became popular as Gayatri mantra. Now to explain each letter of

Gayatri mantra our seer sages wrote shlokas and a lot of shlokas got

collected. When sage Krishnadvaipayan Vyas came, he thought, "This

trenedous knowledge of Brhama is spreaded everywhere". So he compiled

it in to four Vedas. From that he also became known as Ved Vyasa. Now

he was still not satified that people will understand Vedas, so to

put them in to practical forms he wrote Puranas and also other sages

wrote Smruties and Darshan etc. Finally Ved Vyasa still felt that it

was not enough. So he finally wrote Mahabharata.

Thus all the scripture we have today is nothing but, merely the

definition of Gayatri mantra.

Interesting.

Moderation

Dear Friends,

Due to an error made by me in settings a few weeks ago, everyone is on

moderation for now. The only exceptions being Michael Bowes and Alan,

myself, and Joyce (I think, I am not sure).

This will be corrected as soon as I have the time over the next few

weeks. Please feel free to post as normal and I will remove moderations

over the next few weeks for people who post regularly.

Sorry for the mistake.

Hope you are all well.

Love,

Harsha

Hello Dear Datta Pandya,

I went to your teacher's website. It is very impressive.

I tried to find the list of the ".more than 3200 books." that you say that

the Acharya wrote. I could not find the list.

If a person wrote one book per week it would take more than 61.5 years to

write 3200 books. That's a whole lot of writing. The acharya must have

been very busy.

Love and peace,

michael

Good morning Michael. The Acharya didn't write anything. He gave daily

discourses for very many years.

The discourses were recorded, transcribed and made into books. Look under

Osho and you will certainly find many references to books and book lists,

and places where you can buy them.

The very day that I decided to stop with agrowth group that I had been in

for many years an acqauintance handed me myvery first Osho book, he was

called Bhagwan then, 'When the Shoe Fits'.. I left for Poona the next month.

I feel a little confused. Are you saying that Vedmurty, Taponistha Pandit

Shriram Sharma Acharya and OSHO are the same person?
