Narasimha’s puzzle: Description of event

Dear Narasimha,

Namaste.

Fuelled by the confidence of attempting the recently concluded adhana chart

quiz, I am making an attempt to guess the event that happened to you at the

place & time described by you. As I type this, the words “Fools rush in where

angels fear to tread” comes to my mind but nevertheless, the show must go on.

Time & date: 16.30 EST on 21 Jan’04 or 0200 IST on 22 Jan’04

Dashas operating at time of event:

Vimsottari Dasha: Me-Ma-Me-Mo-Ke-Su

Narayana Dasha of rashi chart: Ar-Sg-Cn

Taking the Narayana Dasha first to guess the operating theme. Progression is

from the 7th house and hence, the 7th from Ar is to be seen. This is Li which

is the 2nd house and contains 4th and 7th lord as well as is UL. Overall, this

suggests that the theme has something to do with personal finances, family and

spouse. Sg, the 4th house again, is the 3rd from Li and suggests communication

activites relating to family or personal finances. I don’t know how to

interpret the prana antar dasha but I would try to see it in relation to both

Li and Sg. From Li, it is the 11th house and from Sg, it is the 8th house. Its

lord is placed in the 3rd from Sg and the 5th from Li. Piecing it together,

this suggests some good news relating to spouse but some bad news

relating to communication affairs which has an impact on the personal finances.

Having seen the operating theme from Narayana Dasha, I guess that the event has

something to do with the indications spelt out above. Moving on to Vimsottari

dasha, I will try to interpret it as per the guidelines spelled out in the

recent article on interpreting the Vimsottari Dasha upto 6 levels. Here I have

not considered the 6th level because of the uncertainty in exact operative

times.

Sun: Me is the 4th and 7th lord placed in 2nd house from Sun. The themes of

family, spouse and personal finances show up here again. Me is also the DK.

Mo: Ma is the 3rd and 10th lord placed in 3rd from Moon. Communication affairs

related to career, perhaps?

Lagna: Me is lagna lord and 10th lord placed in 8th from lagna. Physical

involvement in something relating to career, perhaps?

AK: Here AK is Moon placed in Aq along with Ra who is the PiK. This suggests

some career-related activities with senior colleagues.

Pranapada Lagna: PPL is in Ta which contains A7. Ketu is placed in the 4th from

it and Le contains A4!

Finally, lets examine the transit situation at the time of event. The chart is

given below. Rising sign is Cancer which confirms the indications given above

under Narayana Dasha discussion!

I am unable to narrow it down further despite having the nagging feeling that

the obvious answer is staring me in the face. Okay, I have to go and see that

film called Virumaandi so I will end it here and summarize the event briefly:

“Bad news relating to communication activities in career and good news relating to spouse”

If I have made mistakes or if my conclusions are completely off-target, I

request the learned Gurus to correct me.

Event/ transit chart is not correct- I guess you took the wrong place-not

Boston, where New Moon happened at that time/close orb/
