Dear Shubhangai,

You are aware of the fact that Astrology consists of three parts however I shall

repeat them Viz., (1) Ganitha iskandam (2) Jathaka iskandam (3) Sumitha

iskandam. The third one deals with the fixing of (A) Mukurtha (B) Vasthu ©

Varusha pani (4) Aaruda.

There are several classical books on Mukurtha for example Kalavethana, Uttra

Kaalamurtha, Kaalaprayasika, Varushathi Nool etc., The various matters

discussed in these books do have a role to play in Horoscopes / Jathakas but

their Gunnas differ.

With regards,

D.SathiyanarayanaGupta.

P.S. (1) Three sub-divisions: Sithandam , Thandra , Karnam . (2) Two sub-divisions Hora ,Thajeega .
