ADMIN: Requesting help and crying foul

As the charter of this list says, this list is for astrologers and it is for

discussing astrology. It is not for helping people in trouble. You are welcome

to ask for help on your chart, but do so without expecting an answer. Neither

the list nor a specific member is to blame, if you are not helped. If you start

blasting members for not answering your questions or resort to personal attacks

by questioning someone's priorities in writing on a particular topic while

ignoring your chart analysis request, it will be unacceptable.

 

Nobody is paid for answering chart requests here. On the contrary, some members

are professional astrologers who earn their living by analyzing charts. Still,

a lot of members voluntarily, and freely, offer astrological readings to

members in distress, astrological software and excel programs to help in

calculations and astrological teachings for students who are confused about

principles. We should be grateful to all those contributors.

 

I have not appointed anybody as the moral police of this list. It is not

anybody's business to question or ridicule somebody else's priorities. The

purpose of this forum is to discuss astrology, further astrology research and

spread the knowledge of astrology. Everything is done on a voluntary basis and

nobody can control what motivates one from inside.

 

You would not go and ask Dr. B.V. Raman why he devoted so much time and energy

to political predictions instead of helping people in need. That would be in a

poor taste. Please adopt the same approach here.
