I hope there is no ambiguity regarding your chart. Your chart has 9th and 10th lord in 11th. The 9th is aspected by exalted Ju and swarashi Mo. To add to it, Me is as well in the 3rd house. So your concern towards your father is understandable. More over in D-12 you have exalted 9th house lord in 5th but aspected by strong mars. The Sun is in 9th house in D-12 and in rashi chart it aspects 9th house. The Mars again in rashi chart aspect 9th house from 6th. So in my opinion the Sun and Mars are problem creating grahas as far as 9th house is concern. Both the planets are fiery in nature. Sun rules the heart so in a way it confirms its malefics towards your father and with Mars, there is chance of surgery as well if not already done. In that case I would suggest to surrender to Vedas. Recite following prayer daily as many times as possible. It is a prayer for Agni the most beloved. I got it correct, thanks mainly to Zoran, with 6 Oct. 1967 . My previous analysis should be discared but the prayer given will still work as Sun again in rasi chart aspecting your 9th house. The 9th lord is again in Leo rashi of Sun and Mars in D-12 aspecting 9th house. So again I see same two planets causing troubles to your father. So recite the prayer as many times as possible. An odd coincidence that I noticed was that I had just started to chant the mrityunjaya mantram for their health, and subsequently learned that I had started chanting a day or two after both of them fell sick! Perhaps the kindness of Lord Shiva guided me in starting the jap, even though I did not quite know why I felt the need to do so. Yes, there was surgery done already, after a mild heart attack some years back. Luckily, he has been OK since. He is the kindest and most sattwic man I have ever known, as well as being very intelligent (he has two PhDs). My mother is very devoted to God, and takes excellent care of him, so hopefully both of them will have a healthy life for many years to come. It could be that my father's birth time is 3:41:10 AM, but the night between 4th and the 5th Feb, 1931, i.e. what we would classify as the 5th according to the modern calander, but would be 4th according to the Vedic calender. I still don't get Purva Bhadra for the star, though. Thank you very much Sir, for your recommendations.
