What is the source of time provided by you? Though I am not politically inclined, much, your interpretation of her foreign origin is missing the point, when you say she is the 5th President of Indian national Congress. First is that she heads the INC(I). Second is that the objection seems to be to a foreign born becoming Prime Minister of a free India. No foreign born citizen has been Prime Minister of India. Even her country of birth does not allow Foreign Born to head their State. Whether the view is right or wrong, do not forget India was enslaved by foreigners many times in history and one can understand emotions behind the objections. Dear Sir, I never stated that she is the 5th President of INC , it was the article from Rediff which stated that, before the article starts I had written "From the Article" and then I had highlighted the main point of the article in Red, that is the place of her birth. I had only presented the events facts so that whosoever is trying to Rectify her chart, that would be an aid to them. Kindly read my post in that light, nor am I propogating her being a Prime Minister, the one who does the job well is what counts to common man irrespective if it is a foreigner or an Indian born - I am sure you would agree to this point. My interest in Sonia Gandhi is purely Astrological, this is to others also who have written against my interest in Sonia. Ok, now Shani is Vakra in Kataka.Is it not this Shani also to be considered from its previous house of Mithuna ? I merely wanted to point out how one tends to miss the point in any write up. If you ask me my personal opinion, I do not think events in her life match the Chart that is available. She appears to have a Powerful Venus and the Lagna too is powerful, so why should her husband have a violent death, is something beyond me. Again look at the 5th house. The indications appear to be at variance from what is known. 21.30 appears to be the most accepted time, hence I am taking that. This is why one has to depend more on nation's chart than individual politicians. Taking a person's chart perhaps lead to wrong predictions about Indian elections. Chandrashekhar. My reference to 5th house is regarding Ketu Sun Mercury placed in 5th in Rasi chart. and Lord of the 5th being in 6th house. Not a very good combination for progeny one would say. Again in saptamsha 5th and 7th house have male planets and she has one Daughter and one Son. A bit difficult to accept the veracity of the chart. There is another chart with Aquarius as Lagna for Mrs. Gandhi, which also fits in the events of her life. So this is a gray area. I think Sanjay has used it. Look at the way she has refused to become P.M. today. Sanjay had expressed doubts about her being P.M., I too had my own doubts. Of course this could be a well rehearsed drama since she has done similar things in past. Let us wait and watch. About transits, my opinion is that transit importance would vary from Horoscope to horoscope. If we start a Transit newsletter we would be reduced to the state of Newspaper astrologers who give predictions based on position from Moon/Sun Rasi alone. I agree with ur point re Transit newsletter, though I feel knowing General INDICAtions of transits before hand can be convenient to many eg Vens retro - Suns path, leads to rise of women in power/ Ven in Gemini and election scenario or Sat in Cancer and elections or political turmoil etc etc can be helpful for students before hand so that Experience of Old astrologers can come to young ones. The intent was to be purely non horoscopic but general to give broad indications and to discuss rare astronomical events. But still I will accept ur view point. Same has been said by Lord Krishna. So my thinking is this that I wasted precious life of 46 years in experiencing and other things my every day is a waste without moving into my original form. I forget all my studies .These all are a part of proud to be away from the true learning, these are hurdles in the completion , these are the 1st proud of learning , which is maximum in the Pundints. <Of course she gets oppositions, hurdles ,struggles etc. when Shani comes to Karaka and crosses the Natal Buddha's longitude of 3 deg.20' but will continue to rule till Rahu comes in transit over her natal Kuja and so Ketu will be in Mithuna from where she will ha ve failures in her political life ie., around 2010.> Rahu is already in such a position as to give effect from Sagittarius as it is also in East direction sign, then why not right now?
