Hello Narasimha:

Thanks for jumping in. I now understand the dictum given

by "nameisego" very well. However, your note brings up one question,

you've said:

"Take Indira Gandhi for example. Take the 6th house of enemies. She

has Cancer lagna and Sg is the 6th. From Sg, the 8th lord is Moon. In

navamsa, Moon is in Aq. Saturn was transiting in Virgo rasi and Aq

navamsa in Jan 1980 when she won elections. Saturn destroyed her

enemies and she came back emphatically."

So Narasimha, shouldn't Saturn be transiting the Aquarius rashi for

the dictum to apply as Moon is placed in Aquarius in Navamsha?

If Saturn was transiting Virgo, then how could it be transiting Moon

(8th lord of the 6th house in Lagna chart) which is placed in

Aquarius in Navamsha?

It appears that you're calculating the Navamsha of Virgo sign which

appears to be Aquarius. If you're doing this, then why would your

next example relating to Rahu in Libra be true, shouldn't you be

calculating the Navamsha or Libra as well?

So here is the confusion, should Saturn be transiting the rashi where

the 8th lord is placed in Navamsha chart?

OR should we calculate the Navamsha sign of the sign Saturn is

transiting in (just like it is transiting Gemini at present) and

check whether ANY 8th lord is located in that sign in Navamsha?

I'd appreciate if Narasimha or Nameisego responds.

Respectfully,

Mukund

Mercury is in Libra navamsa. When she lost power in March 1977, Rahu

was transiting in Libra, even though Saturn wasn't.

she came back to power. Her fortune had Jupiter's protection then.

Note that I am not taking the 8th house here and taking the 9th

instead, as Jupiter is the karaka for 9th while Saturn is the karaka

for 8th. In other words, the 9th lord from nth house shows the

protection for the nth house. His navamsa placement holds the trigger

for that protection. Jupiter's transit there can trigger it!
