Guest guest
Respected Guruji, I am a student of astrology as my interest and i took lessons over the readings by you. For looking at the charts in a quicker way , can AshtaVarga be a good method? But here also Dusthana houses are mystry. 1. 12th house signifies loss only ,so less number of bindus in 12th house means -> less probability of loss. 2. 8th house means longevity but it also signifies debts etc.Are lesser number of bindus in the 8th house are benificial or higher number of bindus ? 3. 6th house signifies enemies, worries etc, but it also signifies service being 9th from 10th house . So in this house also ,will higher number of bindus make results good or bad? 4. Should we see SAV of the planet to which they are lord ,in order to see the effect of the planet.. 5. Lesser number of bindus in 4th house signifies => foreign or away from home ?? 6.Can we see this in reference of dashas also . In case of Narayan Dasha ,Rashi BAV can directly be taken as reference ?? In case of Vishmottari dashas, the planet's effect in the particular area in the chart can be seen from the dasha ?? Suppose Mercury mahadasha is running then we can see SAV of mercury ,and the effect of mahadasha. In case of node, affiliation of the nodes or lordship of the planet where nodes are disposed ,will be taken?? Please give a thought over this .. Please let me know if i m correct a bit or not. Most of this is my intution and thinking . Please forgive me if this is really a bad effort. thanking you, with regards -amit PS: Dont use amitji etc while replying , i m 21 and i surely dont deserve ji from my gurus. . Guest guest
Dear Amit, Ashtakvarg is a very detailed subject. Yes there are thumb rules that you can use to get an idea of say income v/s expenditure i.e. comparing points of 11th v/s 12th in SAV or points of 3:6:10:11 rising for studing business etc etc but by no means u can study such rules in isolation. The whole chart has to be seen. For example if 12th points are more than 11th in SAV then as a thumb rule the person may not have any liquid cash but it may be invested or in real estate etc etc. For deciphering such things the whole chart must be seen. If you go for finding short cuts your readings might go wrong. There is not mystery about Dushtanas. 12th house signififies many things not just losses so less points in any house i.e. less than 28 means that when transit planets transit over such a house the total points per day drops and the person may not feel good on that day. Similarly malefics transit over such a house may give longer term effects. Transit of Guru and Shani over such houses become important when studying finance. 8th house or 6th house or 12th house or any house for that matter if it has less points i.e. < 28 then such houses become weak. SAV is a good tool if used with Transits. If say points in lagna are greater than 32 then such people can be quite head strong, short tempered and confident and not very adjusting. Now this can be a general rule. More the points say more than 35 then person becomes very adamenet, its difficult to reason with such people again this is a general rule. There are only 337 bindus allocated to all 7 planets. If one house is having more points for example there is a stellium of planets in say 3rd house then general vedic astrology can say that person is very parakramik in nature as a general rule, as per Ashtakvarg if you see the points distribution and in each planets BAV most of the planets distribute poitns to their 11th house. So that makes points in Lagna shoot up. Since there are only 337 points which is fixed if any one house gets more points then it is at a cost of some other house. So its better to judge the entire chart rather than try to go for short cuts. I use Krushnas Ashtakvarg system and its a system that is used for timing of events. Its used with Vimshottari dasha only and that too starting from moon only and with Krushnas ayanamsa. It gives very consistent and accurate results atleast thats been my experience. To answer all your others questions will take me a lot of time. I am instead going ot refer you to a site. There are lessons given which you can download and go through on ashtakvarg. http://krushna.sageasita.com/ Ok I am out of time ..... Cheers !!!
