Guest guest
|Hare Rama Krsna| Dear Sathish, Namaskar Guruji taught me, that when other Dasa’s are applicable – use them to time the events in life, and use vimshottari only to see the state of mind of the individual. Here its important to point out that Viàshottari will show the state of mind only, and not the actual events IF another conditional Dasa is applicable. Now I read the pages you mentioned and could not see the contradiction – please clarify – are you referring to the term he used as Sukramsa vs. sukramsaka? It is Sukramsaka. See the planet which lords the entire Dasa with reference to Ätmakäraka – the one who is best placed will predominate the lifes theme – in your case Rähu is AK and it so happens that Rähu lords the Shodasottari Dasa which is applicable in your chart – so it would no doubt be the best applicable Dasa in your chart to see the life’s events. Below are the special conditions that (I believe) apply. 1. Birth is in Krishna Paksha and Lagna is in moon Hora - Shodasottari dasa applies 2. Lagna in Sukramsaka (Clarified by Pandit Sanjay Rath in Vimsottari and Udu Dasas..Page 34, but on page 35 second para there is a contradictory viewpoint..maybe I am using an older edition) - Dwadasottari dasa applies. 3. Lagna is vargottama - Satabdika dasa applies 4. and then we have Vimsottari dasa. If the group members are interested in any life events of the subject, to find dasa applicapability, I would be happy to provide. Thanks in advance. Guest guest
Dear Visti, Namaste. When Sanjay talked on Vimsottari & Udu dasas at the SJC Singapore conference, he said that if two or more conditional dasas are applicable in the chart, choose the suitable dasa as per the order of precedence given by Parasara. The order is given below: Ashottari dasa Shodasottari dasa Dwadasottari dasa Panchottari dasa Satabdika dasa Chaturasiti sama dasa Dwisaptati sama dasa Shasti sama dasa Shat trimsa sama dasa As you said, Guruji also said that the normal Vimsottari Dasa is not to be neglected in the analysis. I made this point in an earlier mail to Shri Ramanarayanan where he essentially reiterated your point that the dasas should be selected on the basis of their connection to AK. So for the example given by Sathish, and going by the order given above, I would say that Vimsottari and Shodasottari dasas should be selected for analysis. regards Hari Visti Larsen <visti (AT) (DOT) org> wrote: |Hare Rama Krsna| Dear Sathish, Namaskar Guruji taught me, that when other Dasa’s are applicable – use them to time the events in life, and use vimshottari only to see the state of mind of the individual. Guruji has however given both options if you read his illustrations.
