Dear Gaurav,

 

Allow me to share some of my understanding…

 

While traditionally classified in an enemy's house, you must not

forget the exchange, or "parivartan" with the Sun.

 

Lord of the 1st is in the 8th House, and vice-versa. Its as if both

pat each other on the back saying – "you take care of my house, and I

shall take care of yours…."

 

Graha Drishti is a desire. Brihat Parasar aHora Shastra (BPHS) writes

below (translation):

 

Ch. 26. Evaluation of Drishtis of Grahas

1. O Glorious, it is said, that Drishtis (of Grahas) and their

strengths are to be known in deciding the effects. How many kinds are

these? Please clarify doubts.

2-5. Drishtis of the Grahas. O Brahmin, I have earlier stated

Drishtis, based on Rashis. The other kind is between Grahas, which I

detail below. 3rd and 10th, 5th and 9th, 4th and 8th and lastly 7th.

On these places the Drishtis increase gradually in slabs of quarters,

i.e ¼, ½, ¾ and full. The effects will also be proportionate. All

Grahas give a Drishti to the 7th fully. Úani, Guru and Mangal have

special Drishtis, respectively, on the 3rd and the 10th, the 5th and

the 9th and the 4th and the 8th. The ancient preceptors have

explained these, which ordinary. By subtle mathematical calculations

these Drishtis will have to be clearly understood, as under.

 

 

The 3rd (Parakrama) and the 10th (Karma) are classified as the Houses

of growth, or "Upachayas." Saturn's gaze helps one grow in these

areas, by his desire.

Respected members,

I have a query on aspects...i am having Capricon

lagna with saturn in 8th house in Leo...now since Saturn aspects 3rd,

7th and 10th house...ie in my case..10th, 2nd and 5th house...i want

to know..Saturn is in enemy house(Leo)..but it aspects...10th

house.which is his house of Exaltion ie Libra, 2nd house..his own

house(Aq) and 5th house (Taures)..again friendly house..do is it

good ?? or bad since it is in Enemy house.?? I shall be obliged if my

query is answered.
