Guest guest
Learned Members, I remember having read that Jupiter and Saturn conjuntcion results in Brahma Yoga. I do not have anymore details. I would appreciate if learned members can shed some light on this yoga and if any, their own experiences with it. warm regards, Vishnu
Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah Namaste Vishnu garu, Here is my understanding: Brahma yoga is conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn. This yoga is supposed to endow the native with the rare ability to understand and appreciate the inner meaning of shastras. I am sure you must have read the “Notable Horoscopes” by Sri B.V. Raman, wherein the famous astrologer repeatedly credits the Jupiter/Saturn association with great importance. He felt that the combination of gnanakaraka Jupiter and the philosophical planet Saturn bestows unexcelled philosophical power and imparts great dignity to both the planets. This is also a Rajayoga, perhaps, because it is the Dharma-Karmadhipati yoga of the natural zodiac. Sri Goel, in his lecture at the Puri conference observed that when the combination of Jupiter & Saturn occurred, in Aries especially, it heralded a spiritual/philosophical renaissance that deeply influenced the human thought the world over. Examples: Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ, Akbar etc Regards, Lakshmi Vishnu Jandhyala <jvk1305 > wrote: Learned Members,I remember having read that Jupiter and Saturn conjuntcion results inBrahma Yoga. Guest guest
Dear Ramadas ji I wish & pray, good health for your wife. When we are abused for no reason ,there is nothing to worry. This shows somekind of srong frustration from the abuser. When he has no other choice to overcome your knoweledge/skills - he is left with just one option - reveal his culture. The intensity of bad words used will be proportional to his frustration. When someone abuses 'Mother' - it is inclusive of his mother as well, because mother is symbolic.Let him be given good sight. Dear Lakshmi ji Kindly explain the analysis of period 1996-2001(disease). Whenever any incident is going to happen in her family or close relatives, someone says in her ears and she says it has helped her to solve many of the problems in her life. > > The above chart belongs to my wife .This is for your information. > > With Shri Hari Vaayu Naama Smarana, > > Ramadas Rao. > > > > lakshmi ramesh <b_lakshmi_ramesh> wrote: > Om gurave Namah > > > > Namaste Ramdasrao ji, > > > > What is it that I can see in the referred chart that you can't see? Your knowledge and intuition are miles above mine. Still, it is an honour being asked a question by you and I will try to answer it to the best of my ability. > > > > Brahma yoga in the said chart occurs in the 6th house and the 6th lord Jupiter ® is in moolatrikona conjunct Saturn ®, who is also a temporal malefic being the 7th and 8th lord. This conjunction, in this chart has initiated a grahamalika ending in the 11th house, which is 6th from 6th house. 2nd Lord sun and 12th lord Mercury tenant the 11th house and terminate the grahamalika. Incidentally and interestingly this conjunction of sun and mercury appears in the D-6 and D-30 lagnas as well. The native must have met with some accident / injury /illness during 1996-2001, which could have resulted in permanent impairment to the eyes/speech/ bones/kidneys. In d-6 lagna the sun is debilitated indicating short supply of energy much needed for recuperation. > > > > Moon, the lagna lord is in the 7th house, that too in Saturn's house and is also hemmed in between malefics and is not subjected to the redeeming glance by any benefic. But the lagna itself is vargottama and is fortified by the aspect of the lagna lord, hence life would be protected. The presence of yogakaraka Mars in 9th house considerably strengthens the adrishta of the native and moneywise, there will not be a problem. > > > > Consistent with the nature of kataka lagna, the native must be soft and sensitive, but prone to depressions. Though the Brahma Yoga occurs in a dusthana, Jupiter is also the 9th lord and such a conjunction confers upon the native a resigned, long-suffering, saattwik / dharmic disposition and a philosophical bent of mind much fostered by the pain caused by the illness. Jupiter's retrogression and the Atmakarakatwa of Saturn could make the suffering long-drawn out. The nakshatra parivartana between Jupiter and ketu, (posited in the 8th house in rasi chart, and aspected by the house lord, Saturn) further strengthens the 6-8 axis. > > > > I think praying to Mahalakshmi or more correctly Lakshmi Narasimha would bring some relief. Since Venus is the lagna lord both in d-6 and d-30 and terminates the grahamalika in d-1, why not advise mrityunjaya mahamantra? > > > > Talking about Mrityunjaya, yesterday evening I attended a lecture on Shiva tattwa (hence the delay in my reply), where the form of Mrityunjaya has been described. The Lord has eight hands and the top two on each side hold up an amritakalasa (pot of nectar) each and pour the nectar on the lord, so He is fully drenched in the Amrita- abhishekam. Then he holds a mriga (symbolizing the mana) and the akshamala (symbolizing vidya) in two more hands. The last two hands are holding an amritakalasa on each lap…ready to give them to the needy, with both hands. Let that AmritaSwaroopa be the refuge of the lady and the entire world. > > > > With best regards, > > Lakshmi > > > Ramadas Rao <ramadasrao> wrote: > ` nmae naray[ay, > > om namo näräyaëäya| > > Dear Lakshmi Ji, > > Just have a look on this chart whose birth details are 16/05/1960, Time : 10:24:59 Hrs at Lat.13N04'59" and Long.of 74 E 58'59".The chart is of a female and Guru (V) and Shani (V) are in 6th from Kataka Lagna in Dhanu Guru's Moola Trikona Sthana. Please give your views about Brahma Yoga in this chart. > > With Shri Hari Vaayu Naama Smarana, > > Ramadas Rao. > > > > > > lakshmi ramesh <b_lakshmi_ramesh> wrote: > Om Gurave Namah > > Dear List, > > My further thoughts on Brahma yoga is that this yoga is most effective in kendras and those houses where either Jupiter or Saturn are traditionally deemed to be strong. For example 1&7th houses, deal with birth and death and are considered the satya peetha and Jupiter and Saturn gain digbala in these houses respectively and I would consider Brahma yoga to be most important in these houses. In all the examples quoted, the yoga occurs in 1 st or 7 th houses from lagna or chandra lagna. In chengiz Khan's chart also this yoga occurs (merged with yuga yoga), but in the 3rd house, and he was more known for his parakrama and exploits on the battle field rather than for his philosophical expositions. > > This is my understanding, I await others' views. > > Regards, > > Lakshmi > > > > > > > > > > > > > > To UNSUBSCRIBE: Blank mail to vedic astrology- > > .......
