Guest guest
Dear Vishnu, Allow me to share some of my understanding… you may also want to reference this in the archives, to learn more of the D9 and the D20: vedic astrology/message/27627 More below… Take care. Nitin. || Namah Shivaaya || || Hare Rama Krishna || Learned members, Sorry but I have to bother again with a few questions about Ishta and other devatas. I am basing these questions on my understanding that Navamsa(D-9) represents dharmic manifestations of the soul. [Via NK] The Navamsa is the chart of Dharma, and matters of the 9th House. 1) Does the 12th from Atmakaraka represent the desire of the soul(towards liberation) at a a sub-conscious level? Is that the reason why Ishta devata is seen from the 12th and is viewed as the promoter of liberation? [Via NK] The 12th House represents Mukti. It is the final sign in the natural zodiac, before we start again, with Aries. The CharaAtmaKaraka (or Jeevatman) is here to learn some lessons of life. The Jeevanmuktamsa (or commonly referred to the Ishta) is the one who will grant mukti to the jeeva in this cycle. Desires are usually seen from the 7th House. If the 12th represents liberation qualities/desires of the soul, 2) Does 4th from atmakaraka in navamsa(D-9) represent the Gruha Devata(family deity) or should one be looking at D-4/D-20. How does one decipher Grama Devata(village deity)? [Via NK] Based on my memory, the Kula Devta (family Deity) is the 2nd from the D20. 3) Does 5th from atmakara represent Aradhya Devata(Adored deity) or should one be looking at D-5/D-20? [Via NK] To see which deity the person is fond of, examine the planets in the Trines of the D20. 4) Does 9th from atmakaraka represent Dharma Adhishtana Devata(Supreme Dharma Deity) or should one be looking at D-81/D-20? [Via NK] The 9th from the AtmaKaraka in the Navamsa is the Paalan Devta / Devi. warm regards, Vishnu ===== ||Om akhandala mandalaa kaaram vyaaptam yena charaa charam tatpadam darsitam yena tasmai sri gurave namaha ||
