Guest guest
Dear Honourable Members, I have a question regarding the grammar of chart interpretation. It seems that the Ascendant is paramount in giving readings because it is sort of the aperture through which the native experiences the sum of his or her karmas in this lifetime. What I would like to offer up for discussion is what are some other main ways experienced astrologers use for anchoring their readings for their clients. It seems that if one looks to dispositors and Nakshatra rulers one can start to see patterns of confluence. If one keeps going in this way one can often narrow down to one or two planets that seem to have the "final say" in a chart by way of dispositorship. I have read this as being referred to as final dispositor. How orthodox is this and how effective have the experienced members found this to be in terms of finding core patterns or issues in a native's life? Do the results of this, if is indeed valid, have any weight comparable to, say, the atmakaraka of one's chart? I appreciate the member's of the list attention to my question. Sincerely, David Engisch
