Guest guest
Dear Respected members and all Gurus Nmaste While reading the Bhavarta Ratnakar I came across the shloka that says "The person will be fortunate in the respect of that Bhava whose karaka is in the 12th from lagna" So if in a chart Sa/Su are in 12th house then this person should be fortunate with respect to 1st/9th house as Sun is karaka of 1st/9th and he should be fortunate with respect to Service/Shatru/Ayu as Saturn is karak of 6th and 8th house. Am I correct? Secondly what does it mean fortunate with respect to karak? How do we apply this principle in practical astrology? Please guide. Thanks a lot for your time and Sapce. Guest guest
|| Om Gurave Namah || Dear Prabodh, Saturn in 12th will increase activities of the 6,8 and 12th house. Hence it's not good. See it this way, 12th house indicates to whom you spend on. Saturn will indicate expenditure to sickness or bad causes. Take the example of say Andrew Carnegie(Use Cancer Lagna) who was one the world's richest man and he had Jupiter in 12th. He gave a lot of money in donations to Libraries and Universities. Can you figure out why Sun in 12th is called Marana Kaaraka staana?. But Sun in 12th can also make the person try to give out a lot as Sun is very magnanimous. Warm Regards Sanjay P.
