Guest guest
Dear Sri Jai, Thanks for pointing out my typo. Tortoise is more akin to Rahu, why? Rahu represents dual abilities, to adapt. That could be one of the reasons why Rahu is considered good in 3,6,11(signs of growth) by adapting to achieve growth. Logically, amphibians must be ruled my Rahu, you may add Frog also to that list. Coming to your refernce to Acharya Sanjay's observation that Mercury rules the Avian kind. I don't know. Can you refer the message? Next, coming to your observation that Koorma avatara was representative of Saturn. You are right! However, look at the tatwa of Saturn, a planet capable of enduring pain and a slow moving. warm regards, Vishnu --- j balagopal <jbalagop wrote: > Also, just to add on, doesn't Rahu represents snakes. Also varaha or > the boar avatar is akin to rahu so shouldn't wild boars be > represented by rahu. Guest guest
trades all are widelyaccepted as significances of Jupiter. Even peoplehaving strong Ju love ridings. Apart from it Ju alsostands for royal vehicle Elephant. Similarly Lionsignified by the Sun from ancient days as a sign ofrolayty in all schools of astrology, Sun also relatedwith Camels and Red Cocks(Aseel Murgh). Rahu rulesover insects and poisonous animals. Interestingly LalKitab clued Ketu signifies pet dogs! Guest guest
Dear Rao, There are 8,400,000 species of life according to the Puranas. I guess they can be categorised into bigger groups of species, like the list Vishnu sent. Still it appears the list is not so detailed, and it would be nice to find a place where there are more indications. Btw, I have a book which lists horses, lion and boar under the Sun. Yours, Dhira Krsna dasa, Jyotishi http://www.radhadesh.com http://www.geocities.com/dvdd1008/Jyotisha.html
